This really works well.

I was surprised by how much this aerator improved the flavor of my wine. I did a quick side-by-side test (aka pouring one glass straight from the bottle and another through the aerator) and the difference was subtle but noticeable. The wine tasted smoother, sweeter. The price is super reasonable compared to other wine aerators I’ve seen, and I love the thoughtful design touches. The little stand keeps it upright and tidy when not in use, so I store it right next to my wine glasses. The built-in filter is a useful detail, it catches bits of cork or sediment if you’ve over-twisted the corkscrew, which has saved me more than once. Cleanup is easy too, which I appreciate: I just run warm water through the aerator and rinse the filter. The only small downside is that a bit of water or wine can drip into the base, so I place a paper towel under it while drying to avoid residue buildup.
