An Easy Way To Add MCT 8 To Your Drinks With No Taste Or Lumps... But I Did Miss The Oiliness
The media could not be loaded. I've used MCT oil so I was keen to give this MCT powder a go. It arrives in a resealable bag and there are dosage recommendations on the back, though no measuring scoop is provided which is perplexing when the instructions refer to a "scoop". How big is a "scoop"?Anyway, I usually have MCT oil in my morning coffee so I added a half tablespoon (approx 7.5ml) scoop of this MCT powder to my morning brew. Would it clump up and ruin the coffee? It did require a little bit of stirring into the first shot, which isn't ideal if you like your crema, but once I'd made my White Americano, I had no idea it was present. There is no taste from it, no granules, simply nothing but the coffee taste which is great and makes this an easy way to take MCT 8.Therefore this is a great solution if you prefer your drinks/coffees as originally intended but still want to take MCT 8. However, I missed that oiliness I get from actual MCT oil, which for me adds something to the coffee drinking experience.

good MCT powder
C8 MCT Oil Powder, 500g===================MCT, (medium-chain triglycerides), used in keto and low carb diets, support weight loss by increasing fat loss, ketone production, and burning more fat which leads to weight reduction. The benefits of MCT is still a well discussed field since it's not 100% proven, but I've used these in the past to help me with my goals.I found you really do need to build a tolerance to it, since it can cause diarrhoea, vomiting etc if you go in too fast and use too much if you’ve not had it before. Kudos for the brand for not using the cheaper palm kernel based MCT, which is quite bad for the environment. It’s generally safe to use MCT oil moderately. But you should be careful when using it long-term. Problems with MCT includes that it has a *lot* of calories - can cause weight gain if you don't follow your keto diet properly! It has a large amount of saturated fats which is good for keto, but bad for people with high cholesterol, it may also make you hungry - a side effect to increased metabolism. Other benefits include good build up of keto'sI use this with coffee, but as a powder can easily mix in with other drinks and protein shakes. This does not contain any C10s since it's not listed, but C8 has faster absorption and is superior to C10, although some other brands mix in a little C10 in as well. Currently selling for 36.99

Great quality
A very good quality MCT oil powder, with a nice clean taste.Makes for a good creamer for coffee or even tea.The packaging is nice and resealable but there is no scoop included, the instructions suggest using one scoop but how much is a scoop??There’s 250g of powder in a pack giving 30 servings so that would be approximately 8.3 grams per serving.A tablespoon is15grams so half a tablespoon will be approximately one serving, give or take a gram.A teaspoon is 4.3 grams so two teaspoons is also approximately one serving.A 500grams pack will give 60 servings. There is no suggestion on the pack as to how many servings should be taken a day but I would assume it’s one, so a 250g pack is one months supply and a 500g pack is 2 months supply or one month if two servings a day are required. This is one of the better MCT oil powders I’ve tried in my limited experience and at the current price of £17.99 as of September 2023 I would say it’s fair value for the money.I would happily recommend this to anyone wanting to try MCT for the first time, my advice though would be to start with half servings until your digestive system becomes accustomed.MCT is extracted from coconut oil which is a natural laxative so best to start small and gradually increase serving portions over two to four days.

Another great product from Clean & Lean
For those following a ketogenic or low-carb lifestyle, this MCT oil powder is a godsend. It effortlessly fits into your macros, providing a source of healthy fats that keep you in fat-burning mode. I've also found it to be a great addition to my morning coffee, it actually moderates the caffeine release so it's more sustained without the usual crash and jitters I sometimes get.Unlike traditional MCT oils that can be a bit tricky to incorporate into your routine, this powder is easy to mix into your favourite beverages. It dissolves smoothly in hot or cold liquids, adding a creamy texture and a subtle coconut flavour without leaving oil floating on top and being overpowering on the taste front.I've used Clean & Pure products for a few years now and can attest to the quality and consistency so would highly recommend.
