This roll up tray (to store) is well made, has a nice smooth finish and the slats unrolls to lay on a flat surface or drape over the arm of the couch to hold a beverage or a project I'm working on. Gives some sturdiness, stability to an otherwise unsteady surface. I can see using it in other ways in the future. Nice product ; I am very pleased.

I bought this to use on the sofa arms but actually it has been used far more fully flat to convert soft surfaces such as a sofa cushion or rug to be a useful side table. The wood feels lovely, very smooth and well finished, and it stays safely level while absorbing a normal amount of movement (unlike a standard tray). We are going to be using this for a long time and will be recommending it to friends.

Don’t hesitate if you are in need of a sturdy wooden placemat I use it on my coffee table, arms of my sofa and kitchen counter. Really nice looking and practical .

It is a good armrest. Works better on smaller flat arm.
