They work great and have multiple use cases
These sensors are well-made, easy to connect, and have multiple applications. I have several installed around my house, and every day I find a new use case - (1) attach it under the sink and have lights turn on when doing dishes, (2) attach it to the cabinet doors and have lights turn on when cabinet doors are opened, (3) Get notified when washing machine, dryer, dishwasher cycle ends, (4) Get notified when mail box opened/closed, (5) I have a delivery box in my porch, so have one sensor there to get notified when I get a delivery, (6) Turn on the lights when fridge door is opened, (7) Turn on light and turn on my music/podcase when I start the treadmill ... Just unlimited use cases and very affordable.

Works great to Home Assistant Automations
I'm using this vibration sensor to detect when my dryer cycle is complete, a method widely demonstrated in various Home Assistant tutorials on YouTube. I appreciate the use of AAA batteries, as they offer longer life and allow me to use rechargeable ones. A helpful tip: make sure to turn off the siren before inserting the batteries by moving its dip switch from the '0' to the '1' position.

Works out of the box with Home Assistant, but maybe not Alexa?
Turned the device on, heard the loud beeps from the "siren," immediately turned that off, then when into my Home Assistant installation and added this little baby to use for alerting me when my dryer turns off. However, there's a catch. The device, while I CAN connect it through the Aleca voice assistant integration, shows as unsupported for Alexa (as of May 18, 2025). Not a deal breaker, it just means I need to learn a little more on how to actually use Home Assistant (which was on my long-term to do list, anyway).I will be clear that this is not a deal breaker for me, as I love Third Reality's devices that I've tried so far, especially since they just work out of the box with ZHA, and I will continue to buy their products as the need arises.

Perfect for dryer automation
Bought this to automate when my dyer is running or stops and them send out a message so clothes don't get forgotten and left in the dryer to get musty and wrinkled. Smart Home Solver on YouTube has a video on how to make the automation using this sensor.

Hit or miss
I bought two of these 3 or 4 months ago. One has been rock solid! The other I thought died because of battery, but after replacing the batteries, I've found out that it just plain died. I don't know why. I've taken the board out to inspect it, but I don't see any signs of any damage on the inside. All the traces seem normal. Idk. You might be hit or miss with these! 🤷♂️

Good ease of use and reliability (Hubitat)
I'll give it 5-stars after considering the cost relative to some other acceleration sensors.- Pairs nicely.- Good range of detection.- Optional siren is a nice feature.- Fantastic customer service.- Be nice if the siren disable and vibration sensitivity could be done remotely. These are done with switches in the device.

Can't control alarm manually
I don't mean physically, I mean manually. The only controls you get through Zigbee are... nothing. I saw reviews discussing manually adjusting the alarm and that is not an option here, you can only physically enable or disable it. I could literally care less about the vibration part and just wanted a cheap alarm I can place in a few spots in the event of a break in. I might put it in my car as an additional security measure, but I can see that not working well either. Also right next to (an admittedly cheap) decibel meter it tops out at 74dB on VH settings, so it can't even be loud right.

Great little vibration sensors
I was a bit skeptical but had seen so many good reviews I thought I would give them a try. These use standard batteries, were easy to hook up, and do exactly what they say. I appreciate the sensitivity controls, and on high they pick up feedback very well. Integrations with other platforms (like home assistant) were pretty simple to set up. Highly recommend!
