Works perfectly on an MKS Gen 1.4
Works perfectly with a MKS Gen 1.4 board, take the black and blue wire and make a switch plug for the Z axis and run the brown wire of one of the 12v pins.

2-3mm max, even using a spring steel magnetic plate :(
decided to try this instead of a bltouch, advertised as up to 10mm from the plate, i've got a spring steel magnetic plate and the sensor needs to be 2mm ish from it before it will detect anything. can't return it because i had to change the connector to fit my printer.
