Essential reading for the semi beginner

I liked this book as it was clear and easy to follow, illustration are on the same page and language is not as complex as my 1950’s addition plus it’s in metric as I don’t do inches

If you want to teach yourself how to make clothes well, this series of books are what you need. Everything is explained well. With lots of pictures to help you, you can’t really go wrong. I highly recommend them.

Highly recommended. If you are wanting to know how to make clothing that fits, then this book is brilliant. The book explains with illustrations and easy to understand wording how to alter a patterns to fit.

I was inspired to start making clothes from patterns after watching The Great British Sewing Bee. This is the great place to start because it gives you the patterns and great instructions, as well as tips and advice on techniques.

Brilliant book, explains in easy to understand terms. Great detailed explanation with drawings to simplify even further. All good.
