I'm never normally someone to jump onto Amazon and review an item so quickly but this shelf is amazing! It was packaged very well and there was absolutely no damage at all from delivery. The quality is very high and all the drill holes aligned well. The wooden shelf pieces are very white but I will say that the metal is a slightly warmer white but not very noticeable and I actually preferred it. The shelf itself is extremely sturdy/strong once put together and the main thing I wanted to add was this was the EASIEST thing I've ever put together and there wasn't a need for any extra tools (everything was included). Last thing, although it says it needs 2 people to put together, it definitely doesn't. It just needs a steady hand and it will go up no time :) .

This bookcase is a solid, good-value option if you need non-destructive, standalone shelving that doesn’t require mounting hardware. (For safety, however, wall anchors and ties are included.) It feels sturdy enough for "reasonable, everyday use" in a small study or home office, easily supporting books, décor, and other typical items. Aesthetically, it looks quite nice, simple and modern – especially from farther than a few feet away – though close inspection shows that not every joint aligns perfectly, as shown in the photos. Still, the overall presentation is attractive and fits well with contemporary interiors where straight & clean lines and corners don't look out of place. On the quality front: 1. The shelves themselves are probably MDF and not heavy-duty, and I believe the 70-lb limit is about right, though I suspect there would be bowing over time; I don't plan on placing more than 30 lbs max on any single tier. They are also painted on all sides, unlike some cheap options where they skip the coating/veneer on the bottom. 2. The included screws are great, and they include a couple extra of most types in case any bad ones made it in. I didn't find myself needing to use any of them, though. 3. The posts are hollow as expected, but they are more than strong enough to hold the rated weight. The finish is also excellent, and I didn't find any leftover burrs, paint chips, etc. Freshly constructed, there is an extremely slight wobble to the bookcase, but once you start putting anything on the shelves, it becomes rock solid. I haven't even filled half the tiers, and it's immovable. The unit arrives very well-packaged, with all components protected and organized in assembly order. It’s also relatively lightweight, which makes it easy to carry and maneuver into its final position. Assembly is straightforward, with clear instructions and no tricky steps, so putting it together alone is entirely manageable. The instructions tell you to put it together with a buddy, but I felt totally fine solo. Overall, it’s a practical and visually appealing choice for the price.
