Huy Fong Foods, Inc. - Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce - 17 oz.

There was an annoying shortage of this that seemed to go on forever. Something about a pissing contest between the grower and the manufacturer. It's a very good basic hot sauce, with a different taste than your typical Frank's or Texas Pete. I'd say the heat level is about the same.

With their reputation, does this even need a review? Here I go. It is arguably the most versatile hot sauce on the planet. Its sweet, garlicky flavor works on everything from steak to noodles. It's a staple in my kitchen and you will never see my kitchen without it.

As expected. Same great quality and taste

Its great with everything from pizza to poke bowls. Its hot but not like habanero hot. It has a garlic flavor with it. The price was good. This is the second big one I bought.

I was out of sambal olek and sriracha and was looking to buy more. I couldn't find it at the local grocery store so I went looking on Amazon. Of course, they had it but the price was outrageous. After reading up a bit I now know why - a chili shortage due to a bad growing season in Mexico. So, because of supply and demand, price of both products went into the stratosphere. I bought it anyway because I could afford it and I really like the flavor. Hopefully this year they'll have a better growing season and the price will be more reasonable. If you want it now (Spring 2023) buy it while you can find it, otherwise wait until next year and hope the price will come down and will be in the grocery stores again.

It's pretty tasty, but it used to be better. It's like, different now.

My son loves this, during the shortage, only amazon had it.
