I wanted to make smash burgers, and used to just use my metal potato masher with some greaseproof paper. This worked, but not super well. I also wanted something to use with my BBQ griddle pan to keep foods flat while crisping up. This is super helpful, heavy enough, and sturdy too. Although easy to clean, I would recommend still using greaseproof paper with it when possible.

Works well in small 8 in. cast iron pan that is narrower at the bottom and the larger pans, also. Well-constructed, easy to wash, handle is cool on hand and does not rust. Great product! Everything I wanted. I would like to add that I have only used this as a bacon press. That is why I bought it, but it is advertised as a burger smasher too.

I have yet to use it on the griddle and have yet to buy a griddle (soon)....but this item will definitely work perfectly! It has a good weight to it and the handle will hold up to anything you can use it for. I expect years of good use from this Press.

Makes perfect smash burgers! We cut a square of parchment paper to put in between this and the burger so there's no worries regarding sticking, but that's it! Product has a nice weight to it. Perfect burgers every time!

Absolutely love this smasher! We do smash burgers a couple times a month and finally upgraded from smashing with the spatula. This one is the perfect size and weight.

Beautiful grill tool. Perfect size for smash burgers. Solid as heck. Pro tip: use parchment paper between.
