Comfortable and stylish stylus
What a great stylus! Nice compact design and has some heft to it, but does not fatigue my hands after some use. The rounded triangular shape feels good to use and makes it feel deceptively thinner than it is, but is thicker than most conventional styluses/styli. Pairs well with my Galaxy Z Fold 7, so even though it lost the S-pen functionality, it still works great with a passive stylus such as this Elago Grip. The rubber tip is easy to remove, I recommend pressing the center towards the harder inner nib and rotating counterclockwise. I love this Jean Indigo color, it's grey with a slight tint of blue. If you like slate blue or blue steel colors, this is the color to get!

not flimsy!
best stylus i've ever used to date! nice weight and accurate. the cheaper ones i've gotten - the tip is so soft and it unscrews randomly while using it. this one is reliable.

Quality, convenience, reliability
This is my second purchase of this pen and it’s lightweight and small enough that works perfect on my iPhone. It’s well worth the money as obviously I bought a second one. If only they could have more fun colors as I keep losing my pens around the house. Thanks awesome product.

This Stylus Grip does everything right, and looks good doing it!
This review was admittedly inspired by a review I wrote the other day for another elago product, the Stylus Hexa that I recently ordered to replace the Grip that I have been previously using as a daily stylus. While writing the review, I looked up the date that I purchased the Grip and was amazed to realize it was nearly three years ago. That got me thinking, anything that is a $15 - $20 (USD) product that I use almost every day and is still in as fine of shape as my elago Stylus Grip deserves some praise, although I do have a suggestion or two as to how my ideal stylus might be just a bit different. The elago Stylus Grip that I use is in the Jean Indigo color and is in my opinion a near perfect blue. The color on the stylus shows no signs of wearing in the places that I hold it, even after three years of use. The only marking or scuffing of the color has occurred around the flat top of the unit where admittedly I have used it to tap beats on any number of counters and tabletops. Other than that, even though I keep it in a backpack pouch and my pocket with keys, pens and whatever else the finish is still near new looking. This stylus has a good weight to it, although is not heavy enough to make my hand ache or tired from prolonged use. This unit is also slightly shorter, but wider than its sibling the Stylus Hexa and yet the Stylus Grip (appropriately named) feels effortlessly comfortable to hold. Specifically I hold this stylus as I would any other writing tool and use it for regular navigation and some writing as well on my Apple iPad Mini 2 and my Nexus 6 and it performs equally consistent and accurately on each. A couple of suggestions for anyone who cares to listen (wink, wink, elago), first I believe it would be nice to have either an optional attachment for, or otherwise a built in clip for each of your models of stylus. Of course, I know that you do make a model that is the Stylus with Clip (I have purchased one of these for my girlfriend and she enjoys it) but for my sized hand and style of use this unit is too thin and far too short to use comfortably and regularly. For work I like to carry pen, highlighters and such in my back pocket and a clip on this stylus would be greatly useful. Another note I’d like to make is that while the rubber tip is accurate, responsive and clearly well made, it does drag a bit more against the glass of my devices then I’d like during some uses. It would be nice, maybe to have another option for a tip material if one could also keep the existing benefits that I’ve previously outlined. I just now realized that I haven’t explained the need for replacing this unit, and that is that I dropped my Stylus Grip and it landed tip side first, that bent the metal frame of the stylus around the tip. The unit is actually still perfectly usable but I can no longer remove the tip to replace it. I will end this review by restating how surprised I was that I’ve owned and used this stylus for three years and so much more impressed that it is in as good of shape overall as it is. I will leave you with these two links to the other (2) elago products I’ve mentioned above that I would also recommend: -This is for the elago Stylus with Clip, I ordered the white one for my girlfriend who enjoys it for gaming on her iPad Mini and I recommend for users with small to average hands. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004X5KUA8?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s0 -This is for the elago Stylus Hexa that I’m using as a replacement for my Stylus Grip. Consider this product also as you decide the best fit for your lifestyle and needs. http://www.amazon.com/elago®-Stylus-iPhones-Replaceable-included/dp/B006PGDY2Y/ref=sr_1_1?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1436917052&sr=1-1&keywords=stylus+hexa

★★★★★ Exceeded Expectations - Great for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Users!
This is a fantastic stylus, especially for the price. Pros: Comfort: Very comfortable to hold and write with, even for long sessions. Performance: Surprisingly accurate. It even works with some of my current Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra S-Pen features, which I did not expect. Design: It has a quality, premium feel. It's the perfect size—small enough to be portable but large enough for a comfortable grip. Bigger and more comfortable than the native S-pen. Value: Great price and fast shipping. I purchased this to use with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 which I preordered and I plan to trade in my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra once it arrives. Thus far this stylus appears to be the perfect solution, since Samsung did not include support for their native stylus in the Galaxy Z Fold 7. I'm buying a second one as a spare. I highly recommend this stylus for those who value having one.

Great Product!!!
I bought this stylus along with an iPad, case/keyboard. The stylus was the first to arrive by days!! This is also my first stylus. I love this thing, it works so well with my iPad (6th gen, 2018). My iPad does not have a screen protector and this product works every time I touch the screen. This is my first iPad and stylus and I really still have to get used to writing. Currently, I use this as a substitute to the good ol finger. It feels good to just be able to hold the stylus like a pencil and use it to touch the screen. When I received my stylus, I would touch things with it and it would make a sound, turns out the tip was a little loose, now there is no sound. I have to get used to having a stylus. I am not sure where to put it. The case that I have comes with a loop for holding a much skinnier stylus, like the Apple Pencil, but this does not fit in there at all! It does fit in a pants pocket, so I may do that. I researched so many different styluses and came across this one, I am so happy I bought this. My thinking was, I wanted to get a stylus and see how it was, see if I would like it. I don’t know if all the fancy styluses work like a finger on touch screens, I am guessing not. This was cheap, uses no batteries, can be used to just touch the screen of the devices, doesn’t roll off the desk, easy to hold, and a great product. It was my beginner stylus, but this doesn’t have to be, ANYONE can get this stylus. Perhaps someone reading this is just plain sick of the other ones, I imagine this would work just fine. I should add, the tip is pretty fat and when I do write with it, it can be a little cumbersome and difficult to find where you left off on the word. I mean, sense the tip is big, my sentences look a bit more sloppier than normal because it is hard to decifer where on the tip the digital pencil in the iPad picks up. I also think that sense this works on all touch screens and has no battery, there is probably things I cannot mark up because of that. I think with the Apple Pencil, you might be able to actually write right on a document. With this stylus, you have to rely on apps that have a built in writing device. Like, when you save a screenshot, you can write on it. Or notes, this app allows you to write with your finger. I guess to make this clearer the best way to say this is... anytime you can write with your finger, you can write with this stylus. Therefore, it might limit what you can do. Conclusion: I am really glad I bought this item! I might buy another one. I recommend it to anyone unsure about using styluses, or anyone who just wants a simple stylus. I think I will still use this to write, with practice I can probably make it work!

Tip a disappointment, but the barrel is nice
I use an iPad Mini with an Otterbox Defender case (which has a plastic layer covering the screen) at work as a full paper replacement. I write pages and pages' worth of text all day, often taking notes directly as people are speaking. I make my stylus comparisons from a set of ten cheap styluses purchased from eBay, which contained a surprising amount of variability in the tips and contained one that I would consider "perfect." Let's start with the good: the workmanship of this stylus is wonderful. I purchased the blue-colored version and couldn't find any flaws in the coloration. The barrel feels solid, and the material feels delightful in the fingers. The branding written on the barrel is not large or obtrusive, and works works well in a professional environment. I have medium-sized hands and find it comfortable to grip for long periods of time; the size is somewhere between your average pen and a Sharpie marker. The tip is easy to unscrew and replace, if you would ever need to, and it doesn't feel as if the rubber would rupture in the process. It would be nice if it had a pocket clip built in, but that's something that can be hacked on by the consumer if really needed. If I were rating just the barrel and tip replacement mechanisms, this stylus would easily earn five stars. While the barrel is important, the most important part of the stylus is the tip. Unfortunately, this is where the stylus is a disappointment. In my opinion, the best tip I've used is one that doesn't require much pressure to register with the screen, but which can hold up to some pressure without deforming; this is the most similar to a pen. The worst tips are those which don't reliably register with the screen, and which drag and change shape as they slide against the screen with even light pressure. The tip here is quite decent; it requires only light pressure to register with the screen, although I have an issue where creating a down-stroke - such as writing the long line of a capital "F," or the line of a lower-case "i" - doesn't register. The more bothersome point is that the tip is too soft. While it is far from the worst that I've seen, it changes shape and drags ever so slightly against the screen. This makes for an unpleasant writing experience. The end result is that while I use this stylus fairly regularly - partly because I like the feel of the barrel, and partly because I want to feel that the purchase was worthwhile - my go-to stylus that I use when I need something very dependable remains one stand-out stylus from that set of eBay styluses. Someone who only casually writes or draws on their iPad will likely be well-served by this stylus. However, those who need something dependable, who write or draw heavily and under pressured situations, should look elsewhere. I will keep the elate Stylus Grip in my pocket, but my hunt for the perfect stylus to replace my unusually perfect eBay stylus (which now has a worn tip) continues.
