These panels work great to provide a little separation for a coworker and I who share an office. They are thicker than I pictured and we haven’t had any trouble with them falling over. One is even under an air vent and stays in place just fine even when the heat or AC is running. They have exceeded my expectations and I’d recommend them to anyone looking for dividers.

These are good dividers for me to pin things on and I enjoy having the partitions around my desk. The only prob is since they are so lightweight I’m always knocking them over.

I loved these

So, these are very effective at partitioning students for test-taking and they also help muffle sound (though sound-proofing they are not). They are soft to the touch and a nice light gray in color that doesn't distract. Because they are basically a felt-like polyester material, you can also pin things to them which could be useful in some situations.The only issue (as many others have commented on) is the stand which barely holds up the screen and takes next to nothing to fall over. As long as no-one sneezes, breathes heavily, or "clowns around" with them they should be fine (and teachers everywhere know that students never do those things, right?)I actually use them more for their sound-dampening properties in my recording studio. Again, they're not sound-proof, but every little bit helps and I use it as an added layer of dampening (I actually hang mine from fishing line rather than using the stands).

It’s very light and it tends to fall. I don’t really notice a big difference acoustically. It serves a different purpose: you can pin notes on it.
