I like the design, very practical, look great

Just slightly heavier and thicker than the Samsung OEM items: but for a few bucks I atead of a few hundred. The VALUE is incredible and the durability....build quality is terrific. I own a few of these for my 3 Galaxy Tabs (5G). I rely on these tabs, using AI to manage complex genetic analysis with human life in the balance. Traditional I nal medicine let's folks die when si ple, cheap genetic testing can answer medical questions and save lives that a patient t with 9 or 10 Specialist M.D.s cant resolve with $millions in testing, dozens of MRIs, invasive diagnostic surgeries, etc. Tests that cost under $1000 with the results pasted into GPT 4.5 can outperform $3 million in traditional medical practice: and Dave lives by the millions. These tabs are critical: and I use these cheap covers to protect them: they're that good.

I bought this because I liked the way the Smart Book Cover for the A9 folded to allow both portrait and landscape use as a stand, while also being a stylish and quality booklet/folio cover. I knew it was a two-piece unit, but expected it would work well regardless.The reality is that while stylish, the front cover comes off far too easily. When using the tablet in portrait (e.g. reading an e-book), you're better off removing the front cover yourself, because you'll almost certainly cause it to fall off inadvertently. The A9 version actually seated the tablet into the cover (like most phone cases), but for some reason this S9 version is in two very insufficiently connected pieces. While it can be effectively used with only the back portion, that defeats the purpose of a *cover* (and eliminates any semblance of drop or corner protection as well).In addition, the pencil cover juts out, meaning it does not form a flush book-like unit (it cannot lay flat). When in landscape mode as a stand, the front cover (if not intentionally or accidentally detached) sits completely in front of the unit, requiring surface space far greater than other folio-style covers. In portrait mode as a stand (e.g. for video calls), the front cover simply *must* be removed lest it get in the way (or again just fall off).I am typing this review with the tablet in portrait mode, the front cover sitting next to me (detached), and with a replacement folio-style cover arriving tomorrow.

Its a nice device cover but my product came in an opened box and the cover was obviously used by others. I cleaned it up and it works and looks fine but I ordered a new cover not a refurbished one. Pretty disappointed.

I am not a fan of how the front will come off of the tablet when it is folded back when holding the tablet. Other than that it gets the job done.

Talk about anti functional. Tablet keeps falling over. It’s bright white when the tablet is beige. I reordered this a second time and wish I opened the first package. There is a gap unless you keep straightening the two pieces. I know last year the ultra came in two pieces, but WHY on this size.
