Is this cooler water tight? for ice

Yes, it has a built in waterproof lining.

What size rtic ice pack?

I use the Yeti Ice 2 lb. Ice pack and it works great as long as the cans or bottles aren’t room temperature. I put the whole unzipped RTIC cooler in the frig overnight then added cold bottles of water and soda for a long hot day at the rifle range and everything stayed cold for 6 hours.

Can you freeze the coolerI by itself?

I do not recommend that, just place ice pack in it more than sufficient.

Does it sweat? I have this issue with other products

I just used this cooler at a pool in Charleston SC and at 95 degrees outside this cooler did not sweat and held ice well.
