Neoteck Ground Loop Noise Isolator, Noise Filter Eliminator with 3.5mm Jack Audio Cable for Car Audio System/Home Stero System - Black

One of my digital eurorack modules introduced a lot of noise into my whole system as well as a constant low level hum. Experimented for hours with rearranging modules, taking things out and putting things back in, PSUs etc. Anytime the offending module (Qu-bit Nebulae V2) was seated in the case the whole system's noise floor was raised by around 20 dbfs and hum was present on all outputs. After some research, I thought I'd give this isolator a go. What can I say, it fixed the problem immediately! The outputs of my modular have never sounded clearer and cleaner. From testing, the isolator does not introduce any noticeable negative changes to the sound. A quick test with an oscillator running through a mixer module to my DA converter measures at -12 dbfs without the isolator and -12dbfs with the isolator - the biggest difference being that with the isolator the signal sounds clear and all the background noise has disappeared! I don't usually write online reviews but thought that if this can help anyone else not spend hours, days and even weeks trying to troubleshoot noisy synth outputs then it's worth it. Only criticism (and it is minor) is that the included 3.5mm cable feels a little cheap compared to the braided 3.5mm cables I usually use. I replaced the included cable so it now fits with the rest of the braided UGREEN cables I use. Great isolator and very cheap quick solution to a problem I've been trying to troubleshoot and fix for weeks!

My problem: Two or more computers (PC and iMac) MiniJack outputs plugged into a selector switch. Buzzzzzzzz! on monitors. Unplug iMac = clean sound - or, unplug PC audio = clean sound. But, with both plugged in... Bzzzzzz. Tried using expensive shielded cables, rewiring configs etc, all to no avail. I also bought a USB audio interface. That failed too. In desperation I took a punt on the Neoteck Auido Noise Filter. Problem solved! I now have a 98% reduction of ground humm. Maybe if I put one of these on all machines I can get it 99.9% clean. If you're having similar audio buzzing problems, this device is definitely worth a shot.

installed this unit on the line in cable of a Local community radio stations live feed streaming computer and it removed a nasty hum that's plagued their live feed for years. cheap and cheerful and does what it's supposed to do, the station is overly happy. I reccomend buying a better 3.5mm cable to go along with it. the cable included is short

Ground Loop Noise Isolator Neoteck Audio Noise Filter Eliminator with 3.5mm Jack Audio Cable I've always had strange whizzing and humming sounds when the CPU is busy on every set of speakers I've tried ...I had even RMA'ed 2 motherboards and tried a different Asus model of motherboard plus tried new PSU's.. I had resigned myself to this just being a 'feature' of Asus motherboards ...not any more the sound is clear and interference free for the first time in years ...WOW I wish I'd bought one of these little ground loop isolators years ago. If you are having interference from your motherboard try one of these ... worked for me and I haven't noticed any of the sound distortion problems others have noticed. worked so well I just bought another for my other Asus Based PC...my MSI and Gigabyte mobo based PC's don't seem to have this problem.

It doesn't work. Tip and ring of the jack port seems to be crosswired on either end .. have to bodge the jack to be partially plugged in so the correct parts make a circuit which is a total pain. Otherwise signal drops to nothing and noise floor / interference is about 80% louder than the audio signal. Of course doing so means only L or R audio. Poor or zero quality control. I have lost the box so can't return it and barely worth it for the price I'll just open it up and rewire it. But basically useless as is.

I don't usually do the whole review thing but my need for it is quite common on the linking a Nintendo Switch to a PC monitor without built in speakers scene. If you want to set up your Switch to the HDMI output on a PC monitor and have a sound system, get an audio cable which splits into two male ends with 1 female end. Sound system jack goes into the split cable, one of the mail ends into your PC and the other male end into this Isolator, then the isolator cable into the headphone port on the Nintendo switch. Sound will then work perfectly for both. Excellent and quick solution to something which can be overly complicated (and priced!) by other products.

i bought to of these to connect my mic via two computers they were great for grounding the buzzing issue but i do recommend you replace the cable that supplied for a more higher quality cable but other than that there great for the money

Recentemente avevo notato che le casse del mio PC producevano un rumore di fondo insopportabile quando il volume era impostato su livelli molto alti. Cercando su internet mi ero convinto che il problema fosse di natura molto complessa ed avrebbe richiesto un riciclaggio delle casse o addirittura dell'impianto elettrico dello studio. Per questo mi sono avvicinato con molto scetticismo a questa soluzione economica. E invece ho finalmente risolto il problema! Ho usato uno strumento di misurazione dei decibel per apprezzare il miglioramento. Nel caso peggiore, il rumore si è ridotto del 50%, in quello migliore il rumore è sceso fino a livelli non misurabili dallo strumento. La qualità audio, ad orecchio, non sembra cambiata. Insomma, non avrei mai creduto di risolvere questo problema con meno di 10 euro, favoloso!

Ich bin begeistert !!! Als erstes ich schreibe NIE Bewertungen, aber hier mache ich eine Riesen Außnahme !!! Hintergrund: Das IPhone laden an dem Zigarettenanzüder meines Autos. War eine Qual. Die Störgeräusche des Ladevorgangs während Ich gleichzeitig Musik über das IPhone hörte war unmöglich. Das Fiepen und Kuitschen war zum Teil genauso laut wie die Musik selber. Ich mußte das Ladekabel immer abziehen um vernünftig die Musik über den Kopfhöreranschluß des IPhones hören zu können. Der Kopfhörerausgang ist verbunden mit meinem Autoradio als Verstärker. Aber seit dem IPhone 10 ist das gleichzeitige Laden über nur noch einem Anschluß welcher der selbe ist wie auch der Ausgang sehr Praktisch geworden. Deswegen mußte eine Lösung her und am besten eine praktische. Ich kannte noch aus meiner jungen Erwachsenenzeit die Möglichkeit Autoendstufen über Widerstände oder fertige Endstörer aktuatisch zu harmonisieren. Und so was suchte ich jetzt auch. So kam ich auf dieses Produkt. Für die angebotene Summe dachte ich : mal probieren. 2 Tage später war es da. Sofort mit nicht großen Erwartungen in eine schon vorhandene Klinke 3 ,5 mm - Kupplung eingesetzt. vorhandene Kupplung (Klinke 3,5 mm Mutter/Mutter ) ausgebaut. Entstörer eingebaut sind ja auch exakt die selben Anschlüsse (3,5 mm Klinke Mutter/Mutter) . PS. Es ist aber auch noch ein Adapterkabel bei für die Kombination ( Mutter/Vater ) !!! ———— Ergebniss : So nun stieg die Spannung ! Schnell das IPhone angeschlossen an Das Ladekabel und an den Kopfhörerausgang. Ist ja wie schon beschrieben bei dem 10er ein einziger Anschluß, ich verwende dafür ein Y-Adapter. Automotor an, Autoradio an, IPhone, Musik an .......... Und ??? Mal im Leerlauf öfter mal Gas gegeben um sicher zu gehen .... ——> Musik sat, glasklarer Sound ——> NULL Ladegeräusche *** EIN TRAUM *** Absolut TOP !!! Ich habe sogar das Gefühl das die Bässe besser und satter durchkommen, wegen dem Wiederstand der ja gaaaaaanz leicht ein bisschen die Höhen filtert. Der Sound kommt bei meinem System generell jetzt knackiger, ich kann lauter drehen als vorher. Vielleicht durch den Widerstand jetzt. Ihr merkt das ich mit diesem Produkt mehr als zufrieden bin. Ähnliche Produkte währen wahrscheinlich genauso Positiv ausgefallen weil diese auch nur mit einem Widerstand arbeiten. Aber dieses Produkt ist klasse 👍🏻

Tried it with my headphones plugged into my GoXLR but it didn't remove the low hiss sound as it's advertized to do.

Tout marche nickel, le produit est top. +++ Par contre j'ai eu la désagréable surprise de trouver mon colis Amazon ouvert dans son locker. Je ne sais pas où signaler ce problème sur Amazon.

Conecté unos monitores de estudio a la integrada de mi equipo y tenía un ruido de fondo constante e INSOPORTABLE. Al desplazarme por una web arriba o abajo o realizar acciones como cargar programas tenía otros ruidos igual de insoportables o incluso más. Ha sido colocar este aparatito entre la tarjeta de sonido y los altavoces y el ruido ha desaparecido TOTALMENTE, y todo sin influir apartemente al menos en la calidad del sonido, volumen, graves, etc. Para mi, total y absolutamente recomendable. Eso sí, asegurate que el ruido que tienes no es de los propios altavoces, sino que aparece al conectarlos a la fuente de sonido.
