After switching to this product and removing greens, my lion head has no more inflammation in his nose & eyes. My buns have healthy poops and less smelling urine. I’ve lost many buns to GI upset recently which led me to this company. My buns eat more Timothy hay and drink more water than ever before. Thank you for coming up with a solution to avoid inflammation caused by greens.

Let me start out that Sherwood brand food is the best fo rabbits, but when you order from Amazon, the handling is so much that most the pellets are crushed, so you'll get half the amount of your bunny won't eat powder. But! If you are into making bunny biscuits, you can sift the powder from whole pellets and use the powder to make biscuit treats. You'll just have to find a recipe that you like. In the future, I'd rather order from Sherwood pet health website directly and get a more solid product.

My rabbit recently had to be admitted to the emergency vet for GI stasis related to appendicitis, and was found to have calcium in his bladder and stones. When I told the vet I had switched them to these pellets a few months ago she said she didn’t recommend them as they are high in calcium and could be contributing to the amount of calcium in his bladder. Obviously every bunny is different and some people really like these pellets, but I say this as a warning for bunnies with bladder/kidney issues. As I understand, rabbits cannot process calcium like people do and so they shouldn’t have much of it.

My rabbits love it and it lasts for about 2 or 3 months for 2 full grown rabbits!
