This fits devices 7" to 12" and a range of different size headrests. After I received it, I was a little worried because I had not noticed that the headrests on a Jeep Compass are oblong shaped and much taller that the more rounded headrests, but this mount fit it perfectly. The mount is a hard back for mounting the DVD player BUT consists of a nylon-cloth band or strap for mounting around the headrest and then securing with a super strong Velcro closure. (Don't be hesitant. This strap or band has some stretch to it to fit different sizes but it has literally the strongest Velcro I have ever seen. it takes some effort to undo the closure which is a good thing as it holds your DVD player or i-Pad snuggly in place. Due to the design of my DVD Player, my DVD player is actually swiveled and flipped and fits perfect in this universal headrest mount. The quality of material is very high with tight stitching and no lose threads. The Velcro is high quality and very strong. The mount comes with detailed instructions with diagrams so that "even a Caveman can do it". The mount comes in the manufacturer's box so that it is well protected upon arrival. In terms of durability, it will probably last longer than the DVD player as the materials and workmanship are excellent. This was also a GREAT value for the money at less than $10 and free returns. I rate A++.

Bought this for a 16 hours car ride for my daughter! The portable dvd player fit snug and never came loose. It’s simple to install and stays in place!

Good sturdy simple product. It fits a Nissan Armada headrest. The straps are very secure but wide so you have to move them to the side to get to the buttons on a portable DVD player that has buttons on the inside when the screen is lifted and not flat down. It isn't a big deal if you have the remote. Would purchase again.

I love this I use it everyday in my car it was super easy to set up. My three year old watches movies with the help of this everyday.. the Velcro is a little hard to line up so it will pull your hair if you're not careful with it's placement

Great quality

This thing fits just fine on the headrest. It did not hold the base of the portable DVD player very well - the straps block all the buttons. Also, the velcro attachment strap grabbed my hair pretty regularly, despite me constantly adjusting it.

This is easy to install and use. Seems very durable.

omg horrible like a big strap that covers your screen and no way to tilt like picture. crazy not worth it
