The Xbox controller I use for my PC has a gritty texture on it, which while good for adding friction to the controller, dries out my hands and feels very unpleasant as I play, which is why this product is very nice for covering that texture up without sacrificing the friction that makes it easy to hold on. It was a bit tricky to apply evenly for me, though I do have some small fine motor control difficulties. I will note that it does have a slight plastic smell to it that can be a bit overwhelming at first.

Easy to install and stays on the controller until you want to remove it.

These after installed have a very heavy chemical smell that sticks to your hands. Took almost a week before I could use controller and not have to wash my hands multiple times to defunk.

Used for an 8bitdoo controller instead, works pretty great with minimal trimming needed.

This is a product that I’m excited to try. My hands get sweaty and I was finding my self having to wipe my palms when things got hairy in some games. Got these to help with that. There are pros and cons. I like the feel and the installation went ok. Instructions are fairly detailed for simple install. Playing with them on the controller definitely helps, even when I feel my palms clamming up a bit I still have a good grip and they feel great. There are a couple issues though. I had seen other people say they smell and I thought they might be overreacting a touch. Let me tell you what, they absolutely reek! The adhesive they used is definitely a commercial adhesive, thick and kinda gummy. Used the same stuff on some heavy duty decals on my truck. I don’t know if this stuff is Indoor applicable. It’s been a few days and it’s still very strong. My hands smell and it wafts up while gaming when the controller starts warming up. Could give you a headache, could get you a little high too. Very powerful. That being said, one of the bottom corners is already peeling off of the adhesive, not off the controller though, just the outer grip. That started the first day after a couple hours of play. Not an area I’m surprised this is happening, it’s on the bottom curve of the controller. May need to use a straight edge to cut it back. All in all a great idea but the issues I have are kinda ruining it for me. I’ll say it again, that adhesive is brutal. But they do increase my grip and are very comfortable once you play them in a bit. That is why I’m torn on giving more or less stars...

These grips are perfect for improving your ability to hold the remote without it constantly shifting and slipping from your hands during use. We use the xbox as the main controller in our media room, but I often lose my grip on the remote because it's so slick. These solve that problem and make it easier to hold the controller with one hand. To me, this is a no brainer for all your controllers but make sure you get the right one for your model. So easy to affix and it adheres for a long time without any peeling or other issues. This was my 2nd pair for a 2nd pair of controllers.

After only a week these start to smell HORRIBLE. I tried cleaning them with alcohol, and soap, neither of which help at all. Absolutely disgusting odor that lingers on your hands even after washing them vigorously. I will be throwing these away already and switching to a silicone casing. This being said, they do the job. They stick well, and add incredible grip. They are highly sweat absorbent, but that seems to be the source of the problem as to why they smell so bad so quickly and cannot be washed effectively. I feel terrible for leaving a poor review, but honestly there should be some warning about this as it’s literally unbearable and disgusting.

These stick so well. I didn't install it properly the first try and was worried it wouldn't stick again if I peeled it off. I was wrong, it was easy to peel off and reapply. Two weeks later and it's still holding string.
