Twin XL Mattress 12 Inch, Medium Firm XL Twin Mattress in a Box, Hybrid Individual Pocket Springs with Memory Foam, Cooler Sleep with Pressure Relief and Support

I was very uncertain about purchasing a mattress lik this one, especially knowing. Would be able to return it if it didn’t work out. My summer guests had been complaining about our old mattress setup in the guest room, so I decided to buy a new one. A standard mattress, at $1000 + even for a double, was just out of the question. Several friends had purchased memory foam mattresses for their RV’s and they recommended those. I went online and did a whole lot of reading up about memory foam and hybrid mattresses. Finally, because I like the added durability and extra support that a hybrid mattress apparently delivers, I ordered this one from Amazon. It was actually fun to set up. Once the very large box was wrangled into the bedroom and the mattress, in a tight heavy plastic bag, was put at the end of the bed, the fun began. The enclosing bag was slit carefully open. Like a living thing, the mattress ban hissing and moving all by itself. Over the course of several minute, it unfolded and inflated almost completely. It was great fun to watch the spectacle of a mattress “creating” itself right in front of our eyes! ( Humor me, dear readers, I’m 78 years old and it doesn’t take much to delight me these days!). The mattress is firm, just the way I and my guests like it. It has a comfy memory foam layer on top that is nice on your joints after several hours of lying on it. It’s a tall mattress (12”), and I’ve put another memory foam mattress topper on it for extra comfort. My guests say they sleep very comfortably now with no aching backs or hips in the morning. I take naps on that bed, and I and my little dog love the supportive comfort it provides. The price, compared to a standard mattress, was amazing, delivery was fast, and as I said, setup was not just easy, it was entertaining too!

I have purchased brand name mattresses. In my life. This mattress has them beat! The perfect level of firmness and comfort, like sleeping on a cloud! I think this is my favorite mattress of all time to replace the one on my adjustable bed. Worth every penny!! We bought two one for me and one for my husband. He said he is very impressed as well.

So far I have had it for about a year. I love the mattress and have a great nights sleep. However I do have the target think foam topper and a mattress topper sheet over it. Regardless it was easy to set up and very comfortable. Perfect college mattress that I will be keeping post grad

This is an update to my original review. After posting my dissatisfaction with the firmness ago the mattress and my ability to teach customer service, someone from the company reached out. They do so quickly - within 24 hours. They said they do not have a dedicated website or a phone number to customer service (the website I had found may have been a fake?). They were very willing to help with facilitating a return. I opted to continue using the mattress for awhile longer to see if I might get used to it and they let me know I could return it if I continue to find it uncomfortable. They also took note of the “decorative” handles and said they would share that with their manufacturers. While I still think the mattress is firm and not plush, their quick reply and the quality of the mattress overall has prompted me to update the review. My husband seems to like it and has no complaints. We are both side sleepers. He is 6’8” tall and weighs maybe 220? I am 5’10” and weigh 160. I am going to try a twin padded layer on my side and see if that helps. This mattress is listed as being medium plush in terms of firmness. It is not plush. Not at all. It is quite firm. If I wanted a firm mattress, I might be happy with it. I am inclined to return it but was going to wait to see if I might get used to it. The listing states that there is a 100 day trial window if you are not satisfied. I went to the company‘s website and sent an email asking for information about that. No one has responded to me. And the phone number they list on the website is not in service, which doesn’t give me a lot of confidence. It was such a hassle getting this delivered from Amazon. I’m going to have to see if I can return it via Amazon. The other issue with it is that it doesn’t have any handles on the sides. The picture of the mattress would make you think that there are handles. But it turns out it is just fancy stitching with no other purpose than to be deceptive. The mattress weighs a ton so it’s very hard to lift the corners to put the sheets on when there’s no handle with which to grip it.

When the product arrived I was first shocked at how it was packaged I figured the box would be a lot bigger considering it’s 14” but the box was long and slim so unboxing and moving it inside was a breeze. Opening the product was fairly simple first I unraveled it and laid it flat on the bed frame slicing its vacuum seal and opening it like a bag of chips and watching the mattress shoot up in less than a second (of course give it some more time to properly fluff out. After sleeping on it for a few days now I’m very happy I got the 14” medium plush hybrid mattress not only is it extremely sturdy but it’s height is a nice upgrade from my 8” memory foam. The top two inches of the mattress is a nice and soft plush that’s very cozy for side and back sleepers alike. For me and my girlfriend we find ourselves well supported and sinking in the proper amount. If you need an upgrade wether it’s switching to hybrid or getting something a bit bigger I would recommend this for its price (I was also able to claim $50 off so that helped a lot in my decision). Now getting on and off the bed is more comfortable for someone my height (6’2) I think most people who give it a try would find it to be a nice fit and a comfortable feel.

Purchased for use on a Murphy bed that requires specific weight range and thickness. This mattress is at the upper end of the specs and works great. Have only owned a few weeks but very comfortable so far. Followed the instructions to unpack and it unrolled then inflated beautifully. The mattress is on the firm end of the spectrum which I like but is noticeably firm.
