Take it on an empty stomach. It takes about 20 minutes to take effect. You start to feel warm and then your stomach gets really warm. You have a tingling feeling all over. Definitely elevates your mood. It's a little pricey compared to the powder you can buy but it's worth it to avoid the horrible taste.

I too one,nothing, took 2, felt like when a heart attack comes on (tight in chest. esoughagus) tried 2 again felt same way puked BOTH TIMES that I took @ caps!! Not worth DEATH!!

First I get relaxed and goofy, then I get sleepy. I even feel a little buzzed right before the coma hits. It’s nice. I’m a recovering alcoholic and addicted and these are nice. It’s nice having something that “has your back” like that. I likey. Night night.

I tried this in the evening. I took one capsule to start and didn't notice anything. Took another an hour later and BAM got hit with wall of drowsiness and some considerable nausea. Upon going to sleep, I remember feeling like I was had dreaming half awake... I wouldn't say it was hallucinogenic but it was definitely trippy and not enjoyable. I will say I slept pretty heavy and woke up feeling normal and well rested. With all that said, I believe some of the negative reactions I experienced were due to some interactions with some other medications I am on. Phenylethylamine (one of the two main ingredients) has negative interactions with MANY types of prescription drugs, including "central nervous system depression", of which I definitely experienced some of the symptoms associated with that. It's on me for trying it anyway knowing there could have been interactions. Also, I have tried apigenin (the other main ingredient) once before in a liquid (dropper) form and that also made me incredibly sleepy. I didn't look into whether that has interactions with any prescription drugs. So maybe it was JUST the apigenin, or both ingredients, that caused me to feel the way I did (again, as possible interactions with current medications). BOTTOM LINE: There are a number of highly satisfied reviews, and some saying it did not work for them at all. Ultimately, this product is not for me due to known interactions with prescriptions I am on. That doesn't make it a bad product. I give 3 stars because it DID help me sleep well when all was said and done. But I will not continue to take this product. If you are interested in trying it, do your research on the main ingredients and make an informed decision on whether this is a good choice for you.

I have also tried the powder/drink version of this product, and I like both - for different reasons. The capsules are easy to take and I can take just one or two for an energy boost, or a few more for more of a euphoric effect. Definitely recommend.

I’m giving this 4 stars as of right now because I just got this delivered today, however I took 2 capsules and then an hour later took 2 more — let me just say that this stuff makes my entire body VERY tingly and super motivated! I’ve already gotten most of my cleaning done for the day and am ready for more. My heart rate is elevated so I’d recommend only starting out with 1 or 2 capsules before moving to 4. I’m also just a bit dizzy so I blame that on my ignorance for taking more than I should have for my first dose. (I’m impatient so that is all my fault.) Each capsule is 650mg so a 2-capsule dose is 1300mg phenylethylamine and 75mg apigenin per capsule. I think this would be an effective antidepressant and anti-anxiety treatment to be honest. These are extremely effective and not to be taken lightly. I honestly cannot believe this product is on the market and on Amazon for that matter! It’s very different than anything I’ve ever taken but also similar to some *other* things. Again, be cautious and start out small because this will hit you like a train. And yes I’ve got a strong tolerance to a lot of different things and many products just don’t even touch me.

With most supplements I’ve taken I really don't feel anything. But with this product if you take the right dosage you will definitely feel it and it's pretty strong. For me I love it makes me feel really great. It took about a half an hour to kick in and it lasted about an hour to 2 hours and then just wore off and there was no negative after effects. Definitely helps me to feel better when I’m facing a rough patch. Highly recommend!

This is nothing compared to what I make for pennies on the dollar. Check the ingredients and make your own and Be careful. Remember. Elevate your heart rate to make your BP go down. Don't buy this stuff.
