Good value and tastes good
Love this tuna. Keep the oil. I just like to open the can and put it in a salad. Delicious and healthy.

Nutrient Rich!
I buy this tuna for my grandmother, who is a little bit of a health nut. She LOVES the flavor of the tuna in the olive oil and goes on and on about the health benefits of it. Looking at the nutrient label, it is really packed with healthy stuff and vitamins and minerals that should be in all diets. I am not a fan of the taste, but I personally don't like tuna! She however, says it is some of the best tuna she has had (other than fresh caught and cooked same day, obviously). The cans are easy enough for her to open (which is saying a bit since she is quite weak), if you have a resealable cat food container lid or other can saver lid, they will likely fit on these cans as well, which is great for when she doesn't eat the whole can.

The BEST canned tuna, in olive oil, from Italy
Been a fan of Genova Yellowfin tuna in olive oil for years. And Amazon is the best value place to buy it. Used to be in EVOO, however, the change is acceptable. The tuna is fresh, soft, flaky and delicious, right out of the can. The 5 oz size, although smaller, makes for a satisfying meal with little else. Pair with some arugula or avocado and you’re in healthy eating heaven. Highly recommended high quality tuna. Offered in flavors too.

Nice big chunks of tasty tuna in olive oil. A bargain pack.
A good deal on high-quality canned tuna. Individual-sized cans for a delicious tunafish sandwich or salad. Forget the popular brands of cat food flakes and mush in supermarket cans, never buy tuna canned in water (no taste), this is nice whole tasty chunks of tuna in good olive oil.

Good taste
Nice tuna in olive oil. Tastes fresh and better than other tuna I've gotten. The cans are very easy to open and use. The size of each can is also nice and good for a salad or tuna sandwich.

Excellent yummy premium tuna stands alone without mayo
The comparison between Genova Premium Tuna and the big brand domestic tuna's is stark: the genova tuna's consistency in the can is flaky and fishlike, and not at all that dried out yet also waterlogged texture of others, with none of that dissolved slurry type stuff. The tuna packed in oil is recognizably in olive oil. It's just simply better. It doesn't present as an over-processed product. It also reports 50 calories more per 4 oz can, which may be honesty or may be a legit difference because it's more meaty and has actual olive oil. The calorie tax is deceptive, anyway, because this tuna does not need to have its texture or blandness disguised by mayo. It can stand alone added to a salad without added fat. So spinach & leaf lettuce, tomatoes, a few shaves of parmesan cheese, a can of this tuna, a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of fabulous vinegar. Toss. That's about 300 calories for a high protein lunch. Add a few artichoke hearts for yumminess and its 350.

Love this yellowfin tuna!
I love this yellowfin tuna. It's the only tuna I have ever eaten just plain without mayo or anything else on it. very moist and great flavor. as good as the more expensive brands at a fraction of the cost too!
