DO NOT BUY!! Presentation looks nice but after trying 2 new batteries out of the package the light would not turn on. I tried all of the “troubleshooting” with no luck. Spend the few extra dollars and buy Princeton Tec.

It does the job for me light is not that bright but perfect for close use

I use mine on my helmet it does the job, it actually has a pretty impressive ir light, the white light is very weak even on high power, the red light is stronger than the white light but nothing crazy, but I enjoy it

It’s cheap. I get it. The attachment doesn’t lock in secure. The IR light doesn’t work. Doesn’t really propel any light.

Mech Design Observations: The mount to the ARC rail is secure and is easily adjustable. Engaging the rotational keyways to mount the light is a bit tedious and risks breaking the tiny tabs. The tabs should have a longer angular cross section to make this item less susceptible to breaking those tabs. Function: The light is an admin light to read maps, documents or troubleshoot problems that are close to your face while maintaining low light signature. If you want a bright light on your helmet, you'll give your position away. For those who think the IR light does not work, step into a dark closet and look closely, it works. With NODS, one can clearly see when holding something in front of you. Cons: One will need to carry yet another type of battery. The size of the tabs detracts a star because it will limit the item durability. Everything else meets the requirements.
