Great enclosures! If you need an enclosure that will protect your equipment this is a great option. If you have purchased panels before you know they can be expensive. These enclosures are very reasonable priced for the quality.

Well made for the price point. I’m impressed. I didn’t like the logo they printed on the door. Why do that?! It came off with some rubbing alcohol and a plastic scrubber. If the door was reversible it would be perfect. I haven’t quite figured out what the bottom screw plate knock out is for. Assuming for an outlet? If I figure it out I’ll update this post.

I purchased this as a way to weatherproof an exposed battery on a vehicle. After sealing the unused holes, it has withstood the elements and protected the battery well.

Everything was good, except only had one key instead of the two in the description.

Great Junction Box for the money, very nice door seal and very secure.

I just received this product, so I cannot comment to long term use and such, but I can give my first impressions and initial observations. The pros: It is seems well made - heavy metal and a nice rubber seal with an inner lip of metal that should keep out water even if the seal isn't perfect. The cons: The box it was shipped in was the box immediately around the enclosure - with NO protective packaging. Luckily mine was fine - but this is asking for smashed corners, bent faces, etc from shipping. No instructions - the locking mechanism was preassembled but there are extra nuts that aren't obvious to me what they are for. The back plat for installing items on is also pretty heavy metal - not sure if this is a pro or con - but it makes drilling holes and mounting items a bit more difficult. A fiberglass or thinner metal would make drilling/mounting a bit easier - but this will be sturdy, so? I think my least favorite thing about this enclosure is security. Big plat on the bottom with simple Phillips screws would be easy to remove and large enough to easily reach into the enclosure. Additionally, the locking mechanism just really isn't one. In fact, when mine came, the keys and parts were inside - and it was locked! But I was simply able to use my fingers to easily turn the locking mechanism (the pard the key is supposed to turn - not the whole thing) to open the enclosure right up - and if you take the screws of the bottom plate - you can reach inside and turn the latch of the locking mechanism as well. If you need security - this enclosure is not a good choice. Of course, the locking mechanism of most enclosures on Amazon seem to be pretty low quality, this one it the worst I've seen yet for myself. The keys are also very large and seem like they are made of plastic or maybe cast aluminum or something similar - VERY light. For any real security, the locking mechanism needs to be replaced and something needs to be done to the bottom plate to fasten it in a better way. So, 3 out of 5 stars - although I seriously considered 2 out of 5.

If you are looking for a lockable steel box, this appears to be well made. However, if you are expecting to use this as an electrical junction box, don't buy it. Although the listing states "NEMA 4X Enclosure Box" and "IP 66", the box bears no associated certification labels (e.g. CSA, UL, ETL) nor does it come with any certification documentation. For compliance with electrical codes in Canada and the US, it is essential the enclosure be specifically certified and marked with the required NEMA or UL Type rating for the intended application and environment.
