My son takes this for his lunch each day. It’s easy to clean, good quality and the value for your money is there. It keeps his food fresh and never leaks. We highly recommend and love this!

Bought for toddler lunches. Good size, good quality, easy to clean. The lid is a little hard to get off but it keeps it from leaking.

We've been using this for my son who is in PK-3. I would say that it's very functional. At this point we've used it for the full school year. I had to tape his name to the front of it and I thought that wouldn't hold up, but it actually has. I put a 3X5 card on top, wrote his name on it, and then put packing tape over it. I hand wash it as he uses it every day. I don't think the top is very hard to get off, but I asked him once and he said the teacher takes it off for him. I did buy the version without silicon on it, so it's literally just metal. We had used plastic before, but I feel much better having him eat out of something that's metal. This seems pretty durable and I plan on using it for him again next year.

We were looking for a no plastic lunch box for our son, this was reasonably priced so we tried it. It is a nice lunch box, only complaint is it leaks through compartments with yogurt or other liquids.

I 100% understand why it’s frequently returned…. It’s light even though it’s stainless steel, but it’s impossible for a 4 year old to open. I’m also not going to be that annoying mom to force the teachers to help her out with this every time. Third year is a charm and I knew to ask her to open it BEFORE I used it or even tried it. The organization is nice, the quality seems okay, and given how tight it is, I’m confident that it would keep the food very fresh. I see this blue container in the lunchbox in the photo, but mine didn’t come with one. I’m not exactly heartbroken, I see how small that section of the lunchbox is and I can’t imagine that container could hold a whole lot. My daughter is 4 so I’m not sending her with salads, and she’s not into dips, so I wouldn’t find it particularly helpful.
