It’s perfect for my cat, blends in with my small apartment, it was so worth getting this because he sleeps here every night at the top. He grew out of the hammock but loved it as a kitten.

Although this is a nice cat tree, I would not recommend it for a large/heavy cat.

First of all, it was fairly easy for me to assemble. I am 78 years old and I have two cats - one is over three years old and the other is 11 months old. My younger cat is a female and quite active. She LOVES this cat tree very much. I think this was made especially for her.

As I unpacked the components and laid them out, my cat couldn't contain her excitement. She curiously explored each part, testing the sisal-covered scratching posts with enthusiasm. Her interest was so intense that she couldn't resist interrupting my assembly process, intermittently claiming different sections of the tower as her own.

When my cat started clawing at my furniture, I knew there was something that had to be done to deter this behavior. I at first bought a 10ft cat tree from the pet store, but my cat barely used it so I eventually gave it away when we moved states. After moving to our new house, we bought a brand new couch that my cat also likes to scratch at. I decided to give a cat tree another try, but opted to get one that was shorter in stature with more versatility in terms of platforms and boxes (with the scratching ramp being a must-have), as the last one was very boring (layers of platforms all on one pole with one scratching post at the bottom).Thus, my purchase of this tree. Something I will always thank myself for buying.First, the instructions were very easy to follow. It took me by myself maybe 15-20 minutes to put together. Second, my cat was interested before I even put the whole thing together. As soon as I constructed the first box, he was laying in it. Once it was fully constructed, he jumped right on and was rubbing his face on the platforms, hugging the posts, and pawing at the ball. Mind you, he’s almost 3yo and hasn’t really shown much interest in playing with anything but dead spiders.Overall, I’m very pleased with this cat tree. It’s pretty sturdy and seems like good material. I also appreciate that the color I chose (beige) matches my living room perfectly. 10/10 would recommend.
