It works well!!fit my Porter-Cable PC750AG variable speed grinder.and also fit my old milwaukee grinder just fine with one of the adapters supplied.

The grinder cover functioned very well once mounted properly. I tried not to overheat the plastic connection to my grinder as I had read of others having problems with their dust shield because of heat. this on seemed to function well for our floor grinding. It definitely helped keep the dust under control and was good value for the money. Assembly was easy once I found the correct spacers among those provided. I did like the slide shield that could be pushed back to allow me to grind close to walls etc.

Worked great!!! clogged once or twice on Schluter underlayment felt that was adhered to the mortar.

I needed to remove a tile backsplash in my kitchen because we were remodeling. I managed to chip all of the tile off, and with a hammer and chisel took off what I could of the tile cement. My installer said it wasn't smooth enough so I started looking for a way to make it smooth and stumbled across one of this type of tool at the big orange store. I decided to check Amazon for a comparable but better-priced model and found this one. It came quickly, a few days early at that.Installing it on my Ryobi angle grinder was not difficult, once I figured out which adapter ring to use. I bought a multi-fit adapter to make the 2.5 inch vacuum hose fit and went to work. Expecting lots of dust, I taped an old t-shirt so that it draped over the exhaust port on the shop vac, and I did use a bag inside. After several minutes of grinding the old mortar I stopped and checked the T-shirt. There was not a speck of dust on it, and there was no dust flying around my kitchen either! The brush/seal on this tool was so good that all of the dust went in the shop vac!I very highly recommend this tool if you need to grind away some concrete or mortar.

Did not fit properly on Makita grinder, but kind of worked when tilted , couldn’t hold flat because blade didn’t make contact that way, consequently all dust wasn’t vacuumed

Good quality and value. Will never again grind concrete or asphalt without this hood.

This product was terrible. It arrived with virtually no instructions for installations as to how to install and ultimately I ruined a grinder that was less than a week old. Terrible product.
