Bought this to scoop ice out of a bin in our new refrigerator’s drawer freezer. I love our new fridge but of course didn’t know until we started using it how small the ice cubes are that it makes, which I don’t like—they melt way too fast. Also, for all its fancy features, it sure has a tiny holder for the in-door ice dispenser—two large glasses filled with ice, and it’s out! So, I had to find some covered ice trays (something else you don’t think about: regular ice trays don’t work very well in a DRAWER!). Anyway, found what I needed here on Amazon: a four pack of covered ice trays, a nice bin to hold to hold the cubes, and this scoop so ice doesn’t not have to be “handled” to get in a glass. I know it’s not smart to “scoop” your ice with your glass, either. Glasses can crack/break that way, and it’s no fun trying to clean up clear glass mixed with ice. This scoop is a perfect size (I got the 8oz one), and has the right curve to the scoop-end so the ice lands in your glass, not on your floor. Scoop is sturdy, well made, and appears durable. Been using for over 2 months now and no complaints. Some of the cheaper ones are not welded at the handle attachment, and I did not think that would last, nor did I want plastic. This one is welded, is quite functional, and perfectly sized.

I bought this to use as a popcorn scoop to place the popcorn in small paper bags. It works great. The width is just the right size for the small bags. I'm not sure I would like to use this as an ice scoop because of its size. While it holds about 10 kernels of popped corn, it would not hold very many large ice cubes. Perhaps it would be good for putting ice into individual glasses but it would be tedious to use to fill up a pitcher or ice bucket. Overall I am very pleased with this product. It is well made, nice looking, and serves the function that I intended.

Perfect size scoop for home use. Not to big, not to small. Feels sturdy and industrial/robust.

I purchased the smallest size scoop available here (Haizsijin Metal Ice Scoop 3 Oz). It is well suited to my needs as a cat litter scoop. There isn't much more to say about it except that it is attractively shiny, I am glad that it is made of stainless steel, it is easy to clean, and it has no rough edges.

I purchased this because I wanted something other than my hands to get ice. This is attractive and works well. The only issue I have is that the ice slips off pretty easily. I think I should have gotten a little larger scoop. This is a perfect size and would work great if the scoop was deeper.
