I added a few more cameras to an area of the house that was no where near my server room. Instead of running multiple wires all the way back I employed the used of this unit to handle deployment of all the cameras in the new location and did not have to wire any long runs back to the main unit.It has been working flawlessly now and seems a good investment.

I've had this POE switch for a few months now and has been providing power to all my POE cameras without a glitch. Best of all, their customer service is outstanding. They've been very helpful in providing answers to all my technical questions. I highly recommend this switch for all your POE cameras.

Replacing an older security system server with my own software. The switch provides power and communications for my cameras. Plug and play. Pretty simple. The 1 Gbs port speeds allow for better cameras in the future.

The form factor is compact enough to fit in a tight space in a back office closet. Besides the 8 PoE 1 Gbps ports, the two uplink ports are also 1 Gbps. I am holding back one star because it does not have notches for wall mounting!To mount it on a wall, you will have to use some other means to hold it vertically. The main power connector says "AC-IN" but there is no mention of the input voltage (e.g. 110-220V AC), so not sure if it will work worldwide.

Have been using this for about a year I think and never had any issues. It reliably powers 6 PoE cameras without issue. On two occasions I had to unplug and replug a camera, but suspect that is more of an issue on the camera-side.

This works great for POE cameras. Most likely will upgrade in the future for more space or may even get another one of these.

Works extremely well. I've used PoE for years. I had a regular switch and used it for years, no issues, I thought, but I wasn't satisfied with the statistics. Then it stopped working. It makes since but I didn't realize I needed a PoE switch for maximum benefit. Good price point, ease of use, and works well.

I have issue with my PoE switch quit working after about a month. I contacted support and they sent me a replacement. Thanks for a great support.
