The negative reviews here are concerning- this is a CLEANSER. It will remove makeup like foundation, lip stain, spf, etc but it’s not a makeup remover- DO NOT rub it into your eyes to remove your waterproof mascara! It has surfactants! It warns you that it’s an eye irritant. Get a makeup remover to take off your waterproof eye makeup, this is a skin CLEANSER. It’s also not just a pre-cleanse, it’s a stand alone cleanser that doesn’t require a second cleanse. You CAN use it that way but that’s not all it is. It’s weird that this listing says “follow with your preferred second cleanser”because that doesn’t appear on the packaging or anywhere else. It actually says everywhere else that this is your cleansing step, follow with toner, including on the -recyclable- packaging that’s big enough to read. It’s only wasteful packaging if you’re not recycling it This is a beautiful nourishing cleanser for all skin types and does not contain glycerin.

This balm works well to remove my makeup and my waterproof mascara. It is creamy but not greasy and has a very very light clean scent. It is significantly cheaper than my usual luxury brand balm and works just as well if not better.

I’m someone who has issues with my skin. I deal with both rosacea and eczema and with the two, my skin can be very sensitive. Byoma is by far my favorite! It is the only product that works well my skin and actually keeps it moisturized. I highly recommend this product to anyone who deals with skin sensitivity.

This would be a 5 star because I love this product to take makeup and sunscreen off but why does it come in the biggest and clunkiest packaging. Totally unnecessary and made of the thickest plastic. I honestly don’t know if I will repurchase because I can’t justify that amount of plastic for the small amount of product they put it. Such a waste for a product that tries to seem “clean”. Texture is nice though. I have sensitive skin and it did leave it soft without breaking out. It has a citronella smell so be warned if you don’t like that but it’s not overbearing. Overall love the product but the packing is a HUGE turn off.

You might be wondering why I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 since it does the difficult job of getting stubborn mineral sunscreen off. And that's only because it took 2-3x the recommended amount on the bottle to get it off. However, this is still the first product that i've been able to find that gets it all off. I am happy with the product. But it loses a star, because it requires much more product to be used. And therefore I will be going through this a lot quicker because of that. Having said that the price isn't crazy so i dont mind that too much. It makes my skin feel nice after use. I added this before my regular routine of the Mad Hippie cleansing milk and followed by the Mad Hippie triple c night cream and I'm face feels better than it's has in a very long time! Its a nice addition to my skincare lineup. I can totally see myself buying this product again as well as maybe exploring some of their products in the future!

Removes waterproof mascara and sunscreen with just hands (no rag needed), it doesn’t sting too bad if gets eyes, and has enough product to last a couple months using about 1/4 teaspoon at a time. Gentle on acne-prone, dry skin. Follow it with a normal facial cleanser. My skin doesn’t feel as good if I don’t wear makeup and therefore cleanse without it.

I finally found a product that meets all my needs. I was using a cream cleanser that I liked, but it came in a pump and it was such a pain in the neck as the product got to the bottom of the bottle and the pump would no longer work so I would have to turn it upside down, etc. etc. and it was messy and I wasted so much and it was expensive. I was looking for a product that came in a tub, and was super moisturizing and also cleansing. I don’t wear a lot of makeup, but my face does get dirty with the kinds of work that I do and perspiration. This melting bomb does actually melt into your skin although I do use a little bit more than a P sized amount which is what they recommend. Then after rubbing it in The directions say to add a little water to create more efficient cleansing. I feel it really works and it leaves my skin un stripped. It smells great. I love the packaging and there’s no waste because I can get to the very last bit of the product.

Smells horrid. Hard to spread on my skin. Made my eyes burn. Returned. (Plus, don't you think "Byoma" sounds like a cancerous tumor?)
