Size Purchased: 48/42/38-inch Dog: 75-lb, 1-year-old Husky (escape artist) This crate is legitimately heavy duty. The shipping box alone weighed 84 lbs, so it’s not an exaggeration. If you have a strong, determined dog (especially a Husky), this is not comparable to a standard wire crate. I bought this because my previous Husky escaped cheaper wire crates constantly. Our new rescue Husky is a year old and very high-energy, and I knew a wire crate wouldn’t last. This crate has thick bars, solid construction, and is truly escape proof. He has plenty of room to stand and move around comfortably. Assembly: Very easy. You raise the walls, secure them with 4 bolts, and add 2 screws for the top. Took only a few minutes. The top opens, which is a great feature. Cleaning: Removable metal mesh floor with a removable plastic tray underneath — easy to clean. Mobility: Comes with wheels. Issue & Customer Service: One wheel was stuck out of the box and caused black marks on my light-colored carpet. I contacted Boldbone and they responded quickly and sent a replacement wheel with no hassle. Excellent customer service. Bottom line: If you need a crate that is durable, secure, and actually escape proof, this is a great choice. It’s especially well-suited for strong or anxious dogs. Boldbone stands behind their product, which matters at this price point. Highly recommended.

This crate has been an absolute godsend! My Great Dane puppy has already gone through three crates, and this one is definitely the last stop. The trays arrived cracked, but they were replaced quickly with no hassle at all. The crate itself is much bigger, incredibly sturdy, and very easy to put together. Most importantly, she seems to enjoy this one a lot more, she’s comfortable and has plenty of space to stretch out. Highly recommend for large-breed puppies! 🐾

Pros: Elegant - Sturdier than Wire Cage - having Wheels make moving it easy (be sure to choose the wheels with locks option) - the pan is below the actual Kennel flooring, and I find that a huge relief in case there water bowl gets dumped - my option has the 2nd gate on top, so we can give something to the pup without being concerned with him barging through our legs; or we can easily remove or add a blanket. - The floor grate is pretty sturdy, and doesn't sag with weight on it. Which means that their toes won't get caught or pinched between the wire spacing of the floor structure, when moving around. With the floor panel raised off of the Catch-Pan, the bed mat he has will not become 'stuffy' from not getting air underneath it. - This Kennel has 2 equally divided Center Cross-Bars, which adds more security & less chance of a dog busting or pulling through. Whereas the other Makes only had a Single Bar. Finally, the Cost. This make and model was priced very reasonable… especially when considering that the Wired ones were only $50-$75 less! Cons: I can't think of one flaw. But I do plan on placing a Washer in front of each Nut, so that I can crank those bolts down really good without worrying about the nut getting sucked into the frame as it gets tighter - as will happen with every grade this thin accept maybe Stainless. On an end note, I would recommend this Kennel for any dog under 90#. And I put that limitation on it because I just don't know how well the floor would hold up over time, and I'm trying to be objective for you that have those XLs out there. Because I want people to be able to come to Trust my reviews!

This is no flimsy crate and it's large enough for a full size Shepherd or Rottie to stand, sit, and lie down without being cramped. Unpacking it was a nice surprise as the sides just fold up for you to insert provided bolts to secure the sides in place; very little left to do to put the crate together right out of the box. It took only about 5 minutes! The create is no lightweight, so the heavy duty wheels are a great addition (2 lock), making it roll very nicely in any direction. You do need space for it. This large version is big enough that it doesn't easily fit through hallways/doorways, although it would be easy enough to dismantle the crate to reassemble it in another room. This crate is incredibly sturdy and has smooth welds with no sharp edges, and no flex at all in those bars. There is one mechanism that rotates to keep the full size plastic tray and full size wire floor in place until you turn it to easily slide either/both out for cleaning. The doorway is wide enough and tall enough to allow ease of entry/exit. (ADDL COMMENT: When open, the door can easily be lifted off the hinges if you'd like to not have door swing open/shut at times) The door opens all the way back against the crate. It's nice to have the entire top flip open as well for ease of adding bedding or removing toys rather than half-crawling inside to reach those items. There is some intended flex in the wire floor grate as the dog stands on it, but the bars underneath minimize this and don't compromise the strength of the crate. We are so pleased with this one-time purchase. The crate also arrived earlier than promised. (ADD'L COMMENT: It's an investment, yes. But it's the best on the market and we will never have to replace! We ordered a second crate to have in another part of the house. Our dog rests in it after training sessions. Large crate pads or dog beds fit well. Dog does not challenge openings or hinges on this style at all, unlike wire frame crates that have some flex on sides or doors. Construction is not bare metal; nice finish. The white one looks nice on side of living room.)

I have a Dogo Argentino who is 75 lbs, this crate is well made and sturdy for her. I gives her enough room to stretch and move. It was very easy to assemble, I did it all by myself is like about 30-40 min. Instructions are easy to follow. The door opens easily and can fit 2 dogs inside. One of the trays came broken (I think it was the delivery) but I contacted the company and they sent me not only one but 2 replacements. They were pretty fast, professional and polite.

Absolutely great quality and plenty of room for our Medium sized dog. Highly recommend!
