I love how the velvet isn’t the really thick shaggy type! It is on the thinner side, but that’s exactly what I was looking for! Don’t want to have layers on layers and THEN have a thick robe on as you’re roaming the faire in spring/summer heat. This thin fabric is perfect whilst not compromising quality. I’m 5ft 2 and it touches the floor, but not enough to drag behind me as I walk.

I realized after buying it that it is meant to be a costume robe, not a heavier cloak. I have worn it a few times and washed it twice and it has held up fine. The fabric looks good from a distance but I expected it to feel a little thicker for the price. Still a solid option if you want something light that works for Halloween or themed events.

This was a great quick costume for my teenager. It was also quite long, which was great because my teenager is almost 5 foot 10.

Material seems good. However, cape overall seems small. Doesn’t come close to meeting in front.

Just like the title says it’s a great looking costume piece that fits great with nice sleeves although the fabric is thin. Used it for a Winnifred Sanderson costume and it looked perfect
