We brought this product to add to our existing eufy security system and replace an old PIR security light. Although this product is v understandably not as bright as the old light, the camera provides far but security than the PIR sensor light ever did. The security videos are really clear even at night, and the siren and two way audio are great features. The unit charges well even on a north facing wall, in autumn. The only downside is I have not got it to connect to my existing HomeBase, and had to connect it to my router’s WiFi instead, which means the videos that are captured are stored locally on the device instead of the my HomeBase, which is where my other security footage is stored

This is a great product, it was easy to connect to our home WiFi and to put up on the wall. The light is bright and the images are crystal clear even at night. It's easy to operate and the built in solar panel keeps it charged. I'm really impressed and will probably buy another.

Thought this camera would be ideal for mounting above a garage door. it was fine for the summer months but needed additional topping up in winter due to lack of direct sunlight. I had to remove and charge via USB cable twice. When removing the camera the second time the lower part of the wall mount became detached. The bracket is not very durable and not suitable for an item that may need to be removed multiple times. *** Update *** Without complaint to Eufy and based solely on this review the manufacturer offered to give a full refund (even though the return window had long expired) or the supply of a new mounting bracket. The new mounting bracket offer was accepted and it was quickly delivered. The customer service for this company has been a pleasure to deal with. The camera itself is now operating as it should. In summary this is nice discreet camera and would give it 5 stars. let down only by the mounting bracket which was the reason1 star review was initially given. Hopefuly the new mount will prove to be more durable than the last one. *** Update 24/07/2025 *** This camera has failed after just over one year. The camera is still functioning but movement is creating notifications to my phone but nothing is recorded on the device. This renders the whole thing as useless and not fit for the purpose it was installed for. Contact with the customer service advised a reset, a firmware update and a reminder that the item was passed its warranty date. My advice would be to avoid this device and try something more reliable.

Well built unit. Only had to charge it before installation. Had it installed for 8 months and the lowest power it’s down to was 80%. Setup was easy and connection to my router is stable. Footage is decent and the floodlight is great to keep my back yard illuminated if anyone passes by. The two way communication does have a delay though.

Working well so far, excellent picture both day and night (with a choice of resolutions and the option of infra red at night) and good detection which you can set to detect either all movement or just human movement. Easy to install, 3 screws to hold the plastic mounting plate to the surface and a fourth (fiddly!) tiny screw to secure the light once it’s clipped onto the plate. Solar charging has been fine so far with some sunny and dull days but you need to mount it where it will receive maximum light otherwise it would probably struggle to charge. The app you use to view footage is excellent and also shows information regarding current state of charge and the charging rate day by day. Did I mention the light? You can adjust its brightness but can’t set it to come on at certain times or for set periods. It just comes on at dusk when movement is detected or you can turn it on and off manually via the app. All in all an excellent bit of kit.
