Easy install, great tasting and quality water.
I was skeptical as there were no systems with all 5 star reviews (there rarely is). But this system was super easy to install and came with everything required. All you need is an outlet under your sink. Everything works as expected and our water TDS reads 2-3 consistantly. I also have 2 water testers and both had the exact same reading for TDS. I am amazed. The taste of the water is definitely something you can realize compared to straight tap water. I only wish the remineralization add-on filter could be in the unit. Maybe in replace of one of the carbon filters. But it is what it is. I order the small water pressure tank and plan to run a line to my fridge ice maker and water dispenser. The noise is not something most people will have an issue with. Its barely noticable and unlike other reviews, I can definitely not hear it run from outside the kitchen. Overall, I can say that I'm inpressed and I couldn't imagine anyone being disappointed with this unit. That is why I wanted to take the time to give this product a review. I'm glad I did my research and selected this unit. I hope it will work this good for years to come. If something changes I will update this review.

One of the best RO systems at this price range
Prior to purchasing the Waterdrop system I had a tank-based 4 stage RO system from Costco. The reason I decided to replace my old system was because (1) I had no clue if it was actually working, (2) the tank took up a lot of space under my sink and could potentially be home to mold/bacterial growth, and (3) it was a pain to change the filters. After receiving and installing my new Waterdrop system I’m happy to say those issues are a thing of the past. First off, I wouldn’t necessarily call the installation easy unless you’re comfortable making permanent changes to your sinks plumbing. Fortunately I was able to just re-use the same drain saddle from my previous RO system so that saved me quite a bit of work and time. Aside from drilling for the drain the rest of the install is very easy. I decided to buy the UV sterilizer and remineralization filter separately which was much cheaper than buying the G3P800 which includes those two. On that note: I highly recommend looking at the NuAqua remineralization filter and UV sterilizer over the WaterDrop. They function similar to the WaterDrop however the NuAqua UV is bigger allowing the water to be exposed to the UV light 3-4 x’s longer compared to the Waterdrop. Also, Waterdrop does not provide any details as to what substances/media they use in their remineralization filter whereas NuAqua does. This is problematic since Waterdrops remineralization also contains Strontium which in concentrated amounts is known to be harmful to bone growth. Lastly, NuAquas remineralization filter includes a twist-on bracket which allows you to easily change it out, whereas the WaterDrop filter is connected directly in-line with no built-in shut-off. Now back to the WaterDrop system, the reason I ultimately went with it vs the comparable NuAqua 800GDP system is because of the built-in TDS meter and filter status alerts on the faucet. As good as the competitive offerings from NuAqua are, the fact that you have to test the TDS with a separate device and remember to check the filter status (under-sink) every now and then is just too much of an hassle. It’s similar to how inconvenient checking the air in your tires was before tire pressure monitor sensors were made. With the WaterDrop everything you need to know is shown to you every time you turn on the faucet. Lastly, some people have mentioned the WaterDrop system being loud due to the automatic flushing every so often. This part is true, the system does automatic flush regulary but I don’t hear it unless I happen to be standing over my sink when it happens. Truthfully I’m glad it does that because I believe it extends the life of the filters although why it’s necessary to do it so often is something I wish WaterDrop would explain. Otherwise I’m very happy with this purchase and believe it is one of the best under-sink RO systems on the market, but will likely switch out the UV and remineralization to the NuAqua parts.

Great system great service
I purchased the G3P600 the mini pressure tank for connecting the RO to my refrigerator water dispenser and Ice maker in Dec. 2023. The instructions were easy to follow and installation was a breeze. Love the compact size of the G3P600 even with the small pressure tank under the sink we still have plenty of room. The only minor complaint is the pump is little noisy when it cycles on. The taste of the water is so worth the minor noise. After several months I noticed when getting water from the dispenser on the refrigerator the RO. pump would go on and off and was louder than usual and there was no issue with the smart faucet and no code showing. So contacted Waterdrop customer service and described the issue and they determined that the mini pressure tank was most likely the issue and sent a replacement in couple of days. Installed the new tank in 10 min. and the system is working great again. Harper in there customer service was great to work with and has followed up to make sure everything is working properly.

Compact and Efficient RO System with Minor Considerations
I’ve been using the Waterdrop Reverse Osmosis System G3P600 for about six months, and overall, it has been a solid addition to my kitchen. The tankless design is a standout feature, giving a sleek, modern look and saving valuable under-sink space. Setting up the system was straightforward, taking only about 35 minutes, and the filter replacement process is simple as well. The smart display faucet is a highlight, providing clear indicators for filter replacement: an orange light for a reminder and red when it’s time to replace the filter. This feature is incredibly useful, and the manual provided clear instructions. However, there are a few aspects to consider. I’ve noticed that the water wastage is relatively high, and the system drains periodically even when not in use, which can be somewhat concerning. The noise level during operation is also higher than I anticipated. Additionally, while the smart display faucet is convenient, the TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) readings it provides don’t quite match the results from a separate TDS meter I purchased. Despite this, the system effectively reduces TDS from around 230 ppm in tap water to about 15 ppm, demonstrating its effectiveness. One minor drawback is that replacing the RO filter rod can be a bit costly. Nonetheless, the flow rate is satisfactory, and the water quality has improved significantly, capturing most impurities effectively. I also want to commend Waterdrop’s customer support for being responsive and helpful whenever needed. In summary, the Waterdrop G3P600 offers great value, especially for those seeking a compact and efficient RO system. While there are a few quirks like water wastage and noise, and the cost of filter replacements could be lower, the overall performance and sleek design make this a worthwhile investment. I would recommend this system to anyone looking to enhance their water quality with a modern and space-saving solution.

Great tasting water
I recently purchased the Waterdrop RO filter, and I couldn't be more satisfied with its performance. The water quality has improved dramatically, and I feel confident knowing that my family is drinking safe and pure water. The installation process was straightforward, and the system's design is sleek and space-efficient. I did encounter an issue with high TDS levels initially, but Laura from customer support was a lifesaver. She was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, guiding me through troubleshooting steps with clear and easy-to-follow instructions. Laura's dedication to resolving the problem was commendable and didn't rest until the problem was fully addressed. Thanks to Laura's exceptional assistance, my Waterdrop RO filter is now functioning perfectly, and I couldn't be happier with the product and the support I received. Highly recommend both the filter and the fantastic customer service team!

Great product - Excellent customer service
It was easy to install, it works great. The TDS display makes much easier to measure the water quality. Filters are so easy to replace. I had some issues with RO filter. The customer service is excellent. They resolved it within time and even sent out replacement RO filter very quickly in just a couple of days. I didn't expect the immediate and quick response to resolve. Very satisfied with customer service. My rep Doreen was amazing and very responsive and followed up till end for resolution. Definitely recommend.

Its ok, but there are some glaring issues.
For about 7 years, we used an RO system with a tank. If you’ve ever had one of those systems, you know how much of a hassle it can be to change the filters and sanitize the system (which I know many people do not do, but absolutely should be done). Ever 9-12 months, I’d spend several hours doing that and it was not pleasant…and even then, you aren’t really certain if you are getting it fully sanitized. When it came time this year to do my maintenance, I decided to look into a tankless system. I did research and one of the big complaints with the tankless systems is the high TDS on the initial draw of water after the system has sat for period of time. RO’s with readings on the faucet would demonstrate this as the reading would spike at first, then drop over a period of maybe 20-30 seconds. I didn’t like that, so I set out on a quest to find one that didn’t do that. Many of the reviews I read about this system indicated that it was different. Videos showed that on startup, the TDS reading on the faucet remained stable and within normally low readings. With that and a few other features, I was sold….and then I got the system and tried it for myself….and found something bothersome. Let me change gears and give you a pro/con. Pros: 1) Very Very easy install…once i got my old system out, this took virtually no time at all to install 2) easy filter changes with no need to sanitize the system…thats a HUGE plus 3) your water volume usage is not limited to the tank size…turn on the faucet and water will come out at steady pressure until you turn it off 4) once you flush out the hight TDS water on initial draw (after the system has sat idle), the TDS remains very consistent and low. This leads to the Cons: 1) the biggest issue I have, and for me its a big one, is that the TDS reading on the faucet is NOT representative of the water that is coming out of the faucet. To be clear, It is taking a reading from somewhere in the system and I’m NOT suggesting it’s “made up”(the faucet connects to the main system via a cable)… but the TDS creep between where it takes the reading and when it comes out of the faucet it very present (in other words, they didn’t solve the TDS creep problem, they just changed where, in the system, they take the TDS measurement). On initial draw, the TDS on the faucet will read very low (mine is between 6-10), but a simple test of the water with a meter will read around 50. Run the water for about 20-30 seconds and the TDS will drop to the 6-10 range, matching the reading on the faucet, but to be clear, the reading on the faucet is MISLEADING because it does not give you a reading that is equal to the quality out of the faucet (what you are going to drink)…its reading it from somewhere else in the system. I don’t like this and its a 3 star because of it 2) water savings claims are questionable because even though it produces water more efficiently, the system does a 30 second flush a few minutes after EVERY USE…so if you are using it in large chunks where you’re filling up pitchers, etc, then you get efficiency, but if you are, throughout the day, filling up single cups of water, you will be putting quite of bit down the drain as it will flush for about 30 seconds after every glass. 3) its somewhat loud. The pump is not quiet, IMO…and not only do you hear it every time you use the faucet, but you hear it during the flush…it’s very noticeable. In summary, if you are looking for an RO system, IMO, you need to weigh whats important to you. If more consistent low TDS water is your goal (and you don’t mind the hassle of filter changes and sanitizing), the tank RO system with a permeate pump is probably your best bet. With the permeate pump and our water usage habits, I was able to get a very consistent low TDS water quality with that system. If you are looking for easy install with low maintenance and easy filter changes, this system will deliver..just keep in mind that if you want low TDS water in your glass, you will have to run the faucet after its sat in order to flush out the TDS creep water. For me, the disparity between the reading on the faucet and the TDS of the actual water coming out of the faucet was enough to take 2 stars away…I don’t like that.

Great tasting water and fairly easy install
I spent a good amount looking for a tankless RO system that I would be able to install myself. The feature that tipped this unit over the edge was the built in TDS sensors - that's a cool feature! However, I also wanted to validate the numbers so I also purchased a handhold tester to validate the numbers. I can say that this did indeed reduce the TDS from around ~140 to 13-16 - so overall very happy with that performance. Taste is decent (I don't have the reminerization filter) but somewhat flat - I think this is normal for RO systems. Overall positives: Flow is great Install was easy (including drain line) Water is decent Reduced TDS as described Good purchase.
