I bought this for my nine year old granddaughter who loves and begs to use my Mason Pearson. I tried the Misel brush and it seems nice and detangles my thin long hair that goes to the the bottom of my back and left my hair very smooth. Her hair is shoulder length and thick and curly/wavy so I'm hoping it does as good of a job on her hair as well. However, it is a Christmas gift and we won't know until then! From my own experience I would say it's nice for the cost - especially for the cost! The body of the brush seems a good quality, it has a smooth and glossy look/feel, and comfortable to hold. However, it is a bit smaller than I expected, not quite as large as my Mason Pearson, which I am accustomed to. The bristles seem good and sturdy and the rubber pad seems stiff. I was worried that it might be too stiff but after I tried it I realized that it was indeed comfortable on the scalp. The nylon bristles do not have the ball tips and one might think that they feel scratchy but they actually don't scratch. That's something I realized with my Mason Pearson when I first got it. I had been used to ball tip type brushes but the problem with those is that the tips come off after awhile and those do scratch and then hairs get stuck in them and break your hair. So I do think that I will be pleased with the brush's performance and am hoping it lasts. One of my main influences with this purchase is that IT IS NOT MADE IN CHINA! My second reason is the nylon/ boar bristles, and the smooth finish on the body. I read some reviews of how people are cleaning these type brushes. Personally I don't think you should be using water and soap. The rubber will dry out and ruin the brush. It needs to be cleaned using the cleaning brush for the Misel and more like a dry cleaning. My advice would be to follow instructions for the Mason Pearson on how to clean the hairbrush as there's some really BAD advice out there!!!

This is the best brush ever! Worth the price...I loved mine and bought several for Christmas gifts. I know the recipient will love the brush as much as I do!

Good, but not my daily driver. I got this back in 2020 because I heard the rave about Mason Pearson. And while it absolutely smoothens and glosses my hair and makes it pretty, I have to use it after my first brush. It could be that this wasn't the intended purpose, or that you're supposed to use it differently, but I like doing a front-to-back brush, and this brush's bristles arent strong enough to actually brush it back. They're bendy and kinda smush over it. This isn't an issue on the sides of my hair, but for this reason, I'm looking for a different one (lost my main cheap brush). Wondering if the bristles on the real Mason Pearson is as sturdy as the regular plastic ones.

I like this brush! The variety of bristles are useful for detangling, smoothing the hair, and stimulating the scalp. The handle is more lightweight than expected but it will do the job. Nice alternative to the $$$ boar hairbrushes that undoubtedly collect lint and must be replaced.

we use it all the time on grandchildren. Their hair is a tangled mess and this does NOT hurt them at all. Love this product

I really like the bore bristle brushes, And this one works good in the hair, but I am not a fan of the cheap plastic handle whatsoever.. This is not a cheap brush, it's actually more expensive than other brushes out there, I would've liked to have seen him more handle,
