Great mini motor has plenty of torque for what I needed it for and the self-locking in place works very well.

Quoting as “high torque “is meaningless if you don’t quote a real torque figure. I bought this unit thinking to power my apple grinder that I normally use a battery drill to grind apples, this gear motor stalls with one apple.

Smooth and strong motor. More torque than I need for steering a trolling motor, but just the right speed (44 rpm). I added a hall potentiometer, 3D printed gears, microcontroller, and H bridge driver making it the perfect steering servo for my boat.
