Q: can you use it on shower glass?

Absolutely. As others have said - it is critical to get the glass door absolutely clean first (water deposits, soap scum, etc. must be gone). It helps water run off, but the big benefit comes the next time you clean the door - all of the water deposits, soap scum, etc. just wipe right off - once you have applied rain-x. we re-apply about every 2-3 times we clean the doors. Well worth the initial effort. If you replace a door, apply rain-x before it is ever used and it will be very easy to clean.

Q: does this help against fog?

If the fog is heavy enough, it is will bead up and blow off. But if the fog is that heavy you shouldn't be driving in it anyway.

Q: Can this be used on shower walls??

The glass company that is fixing our shower door recommended it for use on the glass door, not sure about tile etc.

Q: Can you use this spray form of rain x on a go pro housing lens?

I would think that any glass surface would be suitable for Rain-X, where the user may wish water to slide off and not stain. I use it on my car windshield and on shower glass. I use a silicone wipe on my camera lens. Rain-X on my lens is overkill.
