What’s Included: 1 x Leather Desk Mat 1 x Gift Tube Review: Purchased for my office cubicle setup as I needed something to soften the surface and make writing a bit easier. My desk is on the harder side, and my pens were definitely not lasting as long. This mat solved that issue right away. The color is neutral and calming, which somehow keeps me grounded in the middle of all the screens and wires. It’s clean-looking and easy to wipe down, so maintenance isn’t a chore either. The cork backing does a decent job holding things in place, though I do wish it stuck just a little more firmly to the desk. Nothing too distracting though. It unrolled flat without fuss and was ready to go right away, which I appreciated. Using it daily now for both writing and mouse work. No weird chemical smell, no curled edges, and no complaints from me. Nice bonus that it actually makes the space feel a bit more put together. It’s just one of those subtle upgrades that ends up doing more than you thought it would. Glad I went for this one. Review: High quality

I was hesitant to purchase this item. It would take a week to deliver to my location but it really did look a bit more premium than the others. The other Nordik mats had wonderful reviews. I do have the cork at the bottom which gives it a bit of tack to the surface. Its really your items you will place ontop that will hold it in place. Think movable high quality placemat. Material feels good. Not plastic like. Smooth and nicely textured. I use a Logi M720. It works fine, however the mat did introduce some drag. Its not an issue at all for me, but it may be for some. Color was the hardest for me. I wanted a lighter shade of brown, which seemingly alot of cheaper options had, however the quality did not seem the same as this one in the pictures. The other (felt bottom?) Nordik mat also came in brown, but in the photo seemed a darker shade, than this photo. It is more accurate to the photo shown, which I am very happy about. Of course with different lighting conditions im sure it will still change, but it is a very nice natural leather shade of brown. Rolled flat almost instantly and stitching and embossing is great. Mine had 1 loose stitch, but that is not an issue at all.

This looks like a quality product in the pictures and I really thought these would be better than the cheap knockoffs that are available everywhere. While there is quality packaging with a fancy box and covers, the product itself is severely disappointing. While colours are vivid (represented well in the pics) and the leather feels nice to the touch, it is extremely thin for a desk mat. I can still live with the thinness, but the biggest issue is that this thing is a slip and slide on any desk. I have tried it on a wooden desk (ikea karlby) and a generic office desk - cork or not (I got both versions), it just slides on any surface. This is with a full metal keyboard (roughly 1.5 kgs) placed on it, so with a plastic keyboard or a laptop I'd expect it to be much worse. If staying in place is a requirement for a desk mat, you are better off with a rubber bottom one.

I have a folding desk I setup in front of the TV if I am using that computer and this was intended for that. I currently have an actual mouse pad of the same size I was using but having to roll it up or clean it was a tiresome extra step. My office desk is one with an edge to edge pleather type mat that is super easy to clean and use and wanted something like that for my folding desk. While this fits the description perfectly, my only complaint is that the back cork is slick. The other version may have been better for now in that regard, not sure. Ultimately the goal is to use some of the wood I have (whole lot of maple) and make a replacement top to the desk (vinyl is peeling) and then place this permanently to the desk and the cork seemed a better fit. If you are planning to just set this on a desk and you chose the cork, you will probably need some kind of anti slide pads that are super thin. Even just moving my mouse, with my keyboard on the pad, twists it.
