Works great and it can hold an iPad Pro 13 inch model which is what I needed! Constructions feels solid, remote is responsive and works as designed. App is simple and straightforward.

This teleprompter is a fantastic tool for content creators. Setup is quick and easy, and it works perfectly with my smartphone and tablet. The8-inch high-definition mirror is very clear with no noticeable distortion, even with wide angle lenses. The remote control and free app make script control smooth and stress free druing recording.

This teleprompter is great, if you need one that's portable and a bit smaller and easier to set up than the big, heavy ones. Size: It's small, light, and easy to pack when traveling. I use it with my phone, so the words only appear directly over the lens. That way, my eyes are never moving back and forth in my recordings. I always appear to be looking at the audience. I record very close to my camera. If you are further away, this issue isn't as important. Ease of use: it's easy to attach to my camera and easy to remove. The only quibble I have is when I travel. I detach the phone/tablet holder because it sticks out and is not easy to pack with it on. To remove it, you have to take out two small screws. The teleprompter comes with a tiny screwdriver that works well. But this step is a pain, and although the screws make it sturdy, the teleprompter will never drop your phone or tablet. It would be nice if the holder could attach to the teleprompter in an easier way. Body quality: It is very light, yet feels like a quality product. It feels sturdy, strong (for a plastic teleprompter), and well-made. The glass probably wouldn't survive much of an impact, so definitely do not drop it, but for the random bumps involved in traveling, the teleprompter holds up well. Mirror quality: The glass is very clear. Using it does change the white balance and brightness slightly, so be sure to attach the teleprompter to your camera lens before adjusting any settings on your camera. I've traveled all the way around the world with this teleprompter, and it didn't get any damage. I used the box that it came in, but it's a bit bulky, so I'm looking into other packing options for future trips. Remote quality: I haven't used the remote, so I can't comment on its functionality. But the remote itself is also very light and well-made. The buttons seem to be good quality.

Pros: This teleprompter works. It makes a good final product for homemade videos. It works well using just a high-quality smartphone camera. It has a high-quality glass plate which, if you set it all up with care, will deliver a nice-looking video. It's designed intelligently for high functionality without high-quality materials (other than the glass). It's cheap. Cons: The reason it costs so little is that, besides the nice glass, everything else is flimsy and just barely good enough. That's not a complaint, just an observation. You get what you pay for and in this case, you are paying for a nice piece of non-reflective glass and not much else. It is surprisingly difficult to set your smartphone camera because the holder just barely attaches to the frame. With practice, the process will get quicker, no doubt. But the locking nut is seriously like half a revolution away from not being able to tighten it enough. Once tight it's fine, but unfortunately, unless you are planning to just leave it set up with the phone in place, you have to go through the delicate set-up each time. It could be much easier. Also, I would definitely recommend taking the holder off each time because if you tried to add and remove the phone into the spring clamp each time with only that lucking nut holding it in place...? I think it would break pretty quickly. Also, using a second smartphone for the prompter in front of the glass is not super convenient. Again, that's why it's cheap - you have to supply the prompter. I was counting pennies and decided to buy the Desview T2, use my phone as a camera (which works great), and go to Best Buy to purchase a second smartphone with no data plan for 30 bucks, simply to use as a tiny tablet for this purpose. This all proved to work fine. But it's tricky to use. The app works, the remote works, and the cheap phone works, but it's not easy and it takes a long time to get ready for each shoot. Also, for those wondering, the prompter holder is big enough for a small tablet only. An 11-inch iPad pro? No way. I haven't tried to fit anything but that phone into it, but it looks to me like nothing larger than an iPad mini, or maybe a Kindle Fire would fit. All that said, the Desview T2 does work as advertised. It's a great solution if you need a teleprompter and don't want to invest much more than 100 bucks (or have a second phone already). Bottom line: The video product looks good. If you understand everything I've said above, buy without fear.

Excellent value and quality

There’s a huge variety of options when shopping for teleprompters and a huge range of prices. This one is at the cheaper end but I’m here to tell you you need look no further. It’s well made, with high quality glass and great reflection for your phone or iPad. It first securely on a tripod and holds the camera securely. Nothing to fault with it really. It does mean you will nt be able to see your cameras flip up screen if you have one - but that’s true for any teleprompter. Recommend.
