We bought this to help us with our houseplants. We aren't necessarily very good about remembering to water them, so we bought this meter and yes, it does work! It's really easy to use, and the display is bright and clear. I would recommend to anyone who has houseplants.

It was great while it worked

This works great. The way to use it is to place it in the dirt once then switch locations and do it again. It will not work if placed directly in a glass of water as seen in another review. It registers the water content in soil. We are trying our hand at succulents (again!) bc I accidentally overwatered and they got root rot. :( I learned that you gotta neglect those little suckers a bit. Also, my husband got an expensive cactus and I didn’t want to over water it either. If you’re a natural care giver type who tends to over water, this is for you. Extremely easy to use. A child could do it. It’s keeping my plants alive and they are growing!

These are GREAT! I am always afraid if I am overwatering or underwatering. With these I dont have to wonder anymore. It is so freaky accurate how well they work! My plants are overjoyed i get it right now!
