Great balance and top quality . This strainer is a perfect fit for the set I just purchased. It’s sturdy and well made. As for the Made in set I purchased as well, Don’t expect Teflon nonstick in any stainless steel product. It’s a learning curve well worth the safety benefit of high quality cookware . No more Teflon infused food for us . Use a thin layer high quality Oil/Fat on your pan while warming to temp.

This is a cooking upgrade I should have made a long time ago. It fits the 6 and 8 quart pans (I have the 8 quart) like a glove, and is so simple to use. It also uses the 8 quart lid perfectly. Not sure what to do with my colanders at this point. Cooking WITH the strainer is a mega upgrade. Expensive? Not really...not for this brand. And it's built SOLID. It'll last easily as long as the pans. VERY pleased with this item.

I purchased this for the wife, to compliment the full set of Made In cookware I have her for her birthday. I still don't know much about this stuff as I don't cook, but what I do know is that she is happy, says this fits two of her pots, and that it has made cooking easier for her. That's enough for me.

Quality pasta strainer, fits my stock pots good.

Noted bottom dimension is 7.75”, but it is actually 8.5”. Will be returning because it doesn’t fit my pot. Waste of time!
