Effortless Waves - Lightweight Wave Styling Spray, Reduces Frizz, Easy Styling for Wavy Curls, Vegan & Cruelty Free

After decades of straightening my hair and using bleach, I’m new to the curly girl journey. I purchased the Curl Smith products and specifically this one due to having a trial size version as well as reviews from others with similar hair type as mine. I am not disappointed and will be purchasing regular size to care for my hair. It is almost weightless, smells nice, does not leave my hair sticky or weighted down. My curls or waves are looking better and better. It’s not cheap but it works. I’m not into fake eyebrows, eyelashes or nail tips, all of which are expensive: I think having nice hair is worth spending extra money, just like the people who spend extra on eyes, eyebrows and nails. Just don’t tell my hubby, lol. This product doesn’t make my hair look oily and texture is nice. I’d take a picture but my hair is in a bun and I’ve not perfected the process. Maybe on my next Curl Smith product I will be ready to share a pic of my new found locks.

I decided to purchase after a recommendation from swavy curly Courtney on YouTube. I have similar hair and was looking for a one and done way to do my wavy hair quickly. I wash and condition my hair and comb out with wide tooth comb and spray this generously all over my hair and scrunch, plop for a few minutes then spray again, diffuse and done. I usually give it an hr before I fluff just to make sure my hair is all the way dry. It beautiful and perfect for two full days. The only down side of this is the smell it’s rosy and it hangs out. I get strong whiffs through out the day. I’d like it much better if it was just toned down. I have never tried a better product for my wavy hair. It’s spendy I admit but even with the amount I use it will last forever since I just wash my hair twice a week. Definitely worth it for how easy this makes my routine and how good it makes my hair look.

Love this and all Curlsmith products really. Only downside to me is it can be a bit sticky and you need to use a lot of it, but definitely gives a lot of definition to my waves and curls.

I have 2a/b, course, medium density, low porosity, long (mid back) hair. I’ve struggled with products for years because if they’re too heavy they’ll moisturize my hair and leave it feeling so nice, but they weigh down my waves. But weightless products will leave it too fluffy for my liking. I also don’t like the feeling of products in my hair, and some products make my hair take 6+ hours to dry. Problem is, I like just a little *something* to enhance my texture (without anything it’s very “Hermione granger Sorcerer’s Stone era fluff) This. Product. It is everything. It smells lovely and the scent doesn’t linger, it easily refreshes with a little dampening, it doesn’t leave a feeling or stickiness in my hair, and it gives the softest most romantic waves that will last several days (and subtly enhance braid waves I get if I sleep with my hair braided) I have found 2 ways to use it effectively: 1. Wash, condition in shower. Apply leave-in conditioner. With nearly dripping wet hair, divide hair into sections, spray liberally with the product and scrunch with hands, then a microfiber towel. Let air dry or diffuse. This leaves a pretty, beachy effect that doesn’t fluff up in the very humid area I live. And it’s totally touchable! (Very important for me) 2. My favorite way to use this: shower in the evening. Wash and condition, apply leave in conditioner. Let air dry most of the way, then blow dry if it’s not dry before bed so I’m not going to bed with wet hair. Braid loosely before bed. In the morning, release from from the braids, dampen the mid-lengths and ends, and spray liberally to the damp hair. It uses less product, and gives the most romantic, well-held but soft enhancement to my waves. I’m pretty sure I’ll cry if Curlsmith ever stops making this. It’s pure magic.

Decent product. Smells nice. Leaves a residue in my hair that I don’t like, so I quit using it.

Rewriting this because after using the product more consistently I think I unlocked the secret! Works great to refresh curls! Spray evenly on your hair, gently mist with water, and scrunch! It’s like mildly sticky at first but drys soft and doesn’t make the hair super crunchy or stiff. Smells nice too. I actually just bought another bottle for myself and my friend to try

Left my hair feeling like bush woman! Kinda sticky after air drying and absolutely dull looking. I have long, thick, silver wavy hair to middle of my back and it was a disaster trying to comb, brush through. Felt heavy and waves pretty much petered out with the weight. No lasting discernable scent. Overall, I would say this spray was not effective on my hair so as far as value for the cost, that would be a negative!

I have been searching for a product that does not weigh down my thin wavy hair and this is perfect! It keeps my hair wavy and enhances them well without my hair being dry or heavy. Keeps down the frizz as well. Smells great and lasts all day without my waves falling. My hair feels so soft after using as well instead of the usual stickiness you feel when using some products made for curly hair. Highly recommended!!

Avro’ anche un capello difficile (mosso, sottile, poco folto e tendente al crespo) ma questo prodotto non da alcun beneficio mentre appesantisce, cioe’ lascia quella sgradevole sensazione di prodotto sui capelli. Che posso accettare solo se ho in cambio un qualche risultato decente. Ma cosi’ non e’. Per me e’ bocciato
