Safely seal your high heat air gaps!
The high heat silicone sealant for fireplaces is a game-changer for anyone looking to maintain the integrity and safety of their fireplace. Its heat-resistant properties make it ideal for sealing joints and gaps in fireplaces, chimneys, and wood-burning stoves, ensuring they remain airtight and efficient. The silicone formula withstands extreme temperatures, preventing cracks, leaks, and smoke from escaping. Its easy-to-use applicator allows for precise application, and the waterproof seal provides long-lasting protection against moisture and corrosion. However, proper ventilation during application is crucial due to the strong odor. Overall, it's a must-have product for anyone wanting to ensure the safety and efficiency of their fireplace or wood-burning appliance.

Works as advertised.
Works good just like regular caulk. I put it around the cooktop in my RV. It looks great and the heat doesn’t bother it. I would recommend.

The best brand on the market!
If you are a mechanic or work on anything that requires a good seal, this is 100% better than any brand on the Market! Better than Fords Grey, better than Permatex, this stuff is no joke. I have used it to hold metal center cap inserts on my 20s off roads 35inch tires. Held up in Midwest freezing temps. Used it to attach logos, seal electric boxes, my transmission gasket and anything I felt that needed to be adhered down and water right. High temperature and drying time is within 1 to 2 hours or even sooner. I buy this stuff like I do duct tape!

Need to stick tile to metal fireplace surround?
I replaced the fireplace in my home and wanted to tile around it. The gas fireplace has a metal surround on all four sides. It's attached to the wood studs along the edges. You put cement board over the studs and tile over the top of that. You also need to overlap tile over some of the metal. I spent hours researching and could not any videos showing how to lay tile on metal. You cannot use mortar or a mastic on metal because it wont grab onto it. The installation guide for the fireplace said to use a high temp caulk/adhesive. They did not mention this product specifically so I had to take a chance. When I started to place tile I had several that were partially on the cement board and the metal. I used mastic on the parts touching cement board, and this stuff for the parts touching metal. I put the adhesive on the metal directly, but also back buttered the tile and it grabbed onto the metal pretty well. You can still move them around for 10 minutes or so but after that they were not able to slide around. To finish off the edges I bought the metal tile edging and cut off the piece that's supposed to sit underneath the tile. I cut the corners at a 45 with my dremel and used this adhesive to hold it in place. I put on several pieces of masking tape overnight until it was dried. This turned out awesome! I'm not a fan of exposed tile edges so thats why I did this. If you can install edging the correct way I would go that route, but I didn't think of it until after so I had to do it like this. I've run the fireplace several times and the adhesive does not soften or anything. It's a great product. Wear gloves! This stuff will make a huge mess on your skin. Use rubbing alcohol to clean it if needed.
