These work great. I suspect the dehumidifying beads are the same regardless of the brand, but with this one you also get a light. The light is very bright and the batteries last for months. I have a midsize safe and I use 2 to make it more effective and last longer, but that also gives me two additional lights in my safe. With 2 my humidity stays in the mid-high 40s, and I have to recharge them every 6-8 weeks.

Great item overall. The dehumidifier works well and lasts a decent amount of time before needing to be dried (this will depend on overall humidity levels obviously). Recharge is quick and the cord is a good length. Motion light works well and light overall is good brightness. My one criticism is it would be great if this had a rechargeable battery that charged when it was plugged in to dry. Batteries don’t last the longest and are a slight hassle to replace.

My main draw for this was the LED Light, which I assumed was rechargeable, per the listing description, but it actually requires AAA batteries for functioning. Nowhere in the listing does it mention this. Magnets are far from strong and will not hold to anything in the safe. Works okay as a dehumidifier, but seems to need recharged more often than my previous unit. As I'm well past the return period, I'll continue to use it until I can find a replacement that actually does what it's advertised to do.
