What a smashing vacuum cleaner for the price! I am over the moon, it is relatively lightweight, easy to push and pull and has really powerful suction. The cord is long enough for each room so only needs replugging when moving room to room. Emptying is super easy, just push the button to release the dust box, open the bottom and tip into the bin. Cleaning the filter is just as easy, remove the top and the filter housing all comes aways so a quick tap and it’s done. There was no assembly required as it was fully built on arrival. It picks up dust and small debris very quickly and is of reasonable quality. Very happy

For the price this is an excellent vacuum cleaner. The suction is very powerful and the brush bar works well, bits near the edge of the carpet that I'd normally get the crevice tool out for jump up in the air and the suction drags them in. Emptying it I find a lot of fine dust has been collected, not just fluff. I like the way you can take the drum apart and give it a good clean out. The materials don't look too robust (though no problems yet) so I think it's important to read the hand book first so you don't start forcing things the wrong way. Two minor things. Using the tools on the hose is a bit of a faff compared with our previous Dyson, but then this was so much cheaper I can forgive that. Also you need to watch that you remove any hairs from the brush roller regularly as removing the roller from the machine means removing three cross head screws, so that could be a pain if neglected to the point that a lot of hair had got tangled round it. All in all though, I think this vacuum cleaner is a bargain and it works very well, our carpets look like new again! If I was buying another I'd not hesitate to get a Vax again, though maybe one of the pet versions and both my wife and I have long hair!

Ok I have been a Dyson & Shark user for many years and always been reluctant to use any other brand. I have a house with thick pile carpet and tiles in large spaces areas. Over time using Dyson and Shark my carpet became flat and dull looking. After an elf on the shelf prank involving lots of flour my usual Hoover's couldn't get it up so I searched Amazon and this hoover came up with so many reviews for £68 I thought give it a try. I am blown away by how strong the suction is and how much it got up from just one hoover. All remains of flour gone in one hit plus so much dog hair and fluff from the carpet. After just one use my carpet looks like it's coming back to life. Highly recommend this for anyone with carpets especially thick lifeless carpet or with pets. The only downfall is I can tell it's cheaper made than the Dyson and Shark but in my opinion it's so much better at doing it's job!!

Really pleased with this vacuum cleaner. It picks up great, easy to empty. It’s not heavy to push or to pick up. It was an excellent price.

I have been using this hoover for about a month, Things I liked are the ease of cleaning, I find the power of the machine is adequate on hard floors, storage capacity is great for a 1 bedroom, living area, kitchen flat. Things which could improve/dislike The suction power of the machine is good for carpet but not great as you would expect. The length of the lead could be longer as it’s okay but not great. The handling of the product in carpet is a but tricky and hard to turn and get into challenging places which hinders the functionality of the hoover, not that easy to use. The detachable horse is really short and would not expand to your needs, so cleaning dust off the windows or in a small places above the ground level where you want to dust off, like sofas. It’s really short so you have to literally lift up the hoover to reach those heights places even when its around 5 feet from ground level. Overall it’s a good product but with some downsides which we can understand at this price point they have to cut some corners. But, is it value for the money, I think you can go for it without any worries as it’s a decent product at this price range! Hope this helps :)

Verh pleased with this. Its picking up very fine silt from deep within the carpet with no issues. The beater bar is doing a great job kicking up dirt. If you are low on cash or simply want an effective product without breaking the bank then id recommend this all day. It does the job at an affordable price. The filters are easy to wash or replace, no screws to mess with. Height adjustment for the beater bar comes jn the form of a slider right next to it. Its very simple. Its realtively easy to push around, has decent sucktion on the edges. Its a very good buy without considering the price, the price makes it better plus you can pay in 3 installments on amazon if you wish to do so.

This is decent. I got it in the sale so it was cheap and I wasn't expecting much. The suction is excellent. It's impossible to push on carpet without moving the airflow thingy. And let's be honest - that's all a vacuum needs to be good at - so the following negatives arent that important. The hose bit is weird. Having to detach and reattach makes it's annoying to use and there's no where to hold the nozzle so it ends up lying around the house somewhere and I can't find it when I need it. I will get over that as it works brilliantly on carpet wood and laminate and washing about 20% of the price of a new shark
