For the first full year, both units performed perfectly with zero issues. After one year, one freezer developed a minor switch-related issue. I was looking for a commercial freezer to purchase for my restaurant and I came across West Lake freezer in June of 2024. The delivery was on time, packaging was undamaged, and it came to a freezing temperature in a short period of time. My absolute favorite part is that it has a massive storage space inside and it maintains the perfect temperature for meats and vegetables. I also want to emphasize that the service is absolutely outstanding. I came across their valuable representative, Phillip, whom I owe gratitude and appreciation to for making my experience marvelous and making me feel as if I am their only customer. I will be back to purchase from here as long as my restaurant is in good hands with Westlake!! August of 2024, I came back to purchase two more freezers for my restaurant because I was astonished by the service and quality of the product. My restaurant now has three Westlake freezers standing near one another and I couldn’t have been more thrilled with my orders! December of 2024, I needed a commercial refrigerator for my house and I couldn’t have chosen a different route to go. Because of my pleasant experience with Philip, I came back to purchase a refrigerator and how can I even begin to appreciate his time and effort on my order. The refrigerator features 6 shelves and each shelf has a loading capacity of up to 155 lbs, so you can store plenty of products especially if you have a big family like mine. If only there was a way for me to rate above 5 stars, I would have. Do yourself a favor and order your freezers from Westlake if you want perfectly working freezers and representatives waiting to serve you on your door.

I am a homeowner not a commercial business and this isn’t my first commercial freezer. The freezer is beautiful with a stainless steel exterior AND interior. The exterior features a “no prints” finish. (NICE!) The freezer is very quiet, especially compared to others I have owned. The USABLE interior space is the best! Shelf space extends the width of the cabinet without a ‘gap’ between sides as is common with other freezers. I use standard restaurant bus tubs (22”x15”x7”) and the picture shows how well they fit. Interior lighting is per LED strip that runs the width of the interior above the doors. (You can see the reflection in the pics.) Nice and bright! EASE OF USE would be hard to beat since you plug it in and turn it on and it goes from there. And it DEFROSTS itself. OMG! Westlake is the solution for freezer storage. Be careful of brands that DO NOT warranty for HOME use… read the fine print. Westlake is a winner!

I bought this freezer to replace an old one. It sits in my garage so it is subject to the weather temps and humidity. It was delivered very quickly and dropped outside my garage as requested. It went to subzero temps within 30- 45 min and maintains to -12 consistently. However, there is condensation that accumulates on the outside and inside of the freezer doors. Customer service has instructed me to try a couple of different things but the problem persists. They immediately replaced one of the shelves that was damaged. So I can't complain about customer service or the actual cooling of the unit but I could do without the water running down the doors. I hope it gets better in the winter time. I'm still trying to get customer service to actually send a technician to look at it since I've tried everything they told me to. I will be sending them another video today and see what they have to say about it. Would give it a 5 star rating if not for this issue. I was looking at Artic Air brand but their warranty is null and void in a residential setting so that was a no go. Update: the technician came back a second time, fixed the problem, was here for 3 hours including waiting to make sure the freezer was functioning correctly before leaving. At this time, I have no complaints about the freezer. The condensation issue has been resolved. Giving it 4 stars only because it took a lot of complaints to get them to come out to service it. But they were very responsive to all my calls and e-mails. I feel like the way companies are forced to change their product design causes problems that never used to happen. But I do give them 5 stars for their customer service.

Arrived much quicker than Amazon estimate. Delivered via truck so basically gets dropped at curb plan to have help if need to bring it in and set it up. Note delivery company can not assist. I had help on hand due to its final location. I was concerned about damage so anxious to inspect it. This thing was exceptionally well packaged and was in perfect condition. I had some questions prior to purchase and about its operation and contacted the company which provided outstanding support. The machine is way more solid than a typical residential unit and as an HVAC professional much easier to maintain or repair which was a big factor in the purchase. Things to consider. It is louder than a typical unit especially when both systems are running comparable to a typical dishwasher. Also although it has an interior light the internal finish is a metallic silver and doesn’t reflect the light the same as the white plastic typically found on refrigerators. The overall I would say Westlake deserves better than a 5 star review and would definitely purchase again.

I have had this for just under a year and it quit. I lost Thousands of dollars worth of organic farm meat. it will be 1200 to fix the part, and nobody has the part.

Had issues with one freezer, but customer service fixed the problem for us. I would recommend them for standing behind there product.
