bought these for my son, he was well impressed. he commented on the sound quality and feel. he was also impressed with the quality of the strings themselves. due to the size of the strings they will cost more but the price seemed appropriate for them .

The strings are well packaged and clearly marked, great deep tone, only thing I'd choose lighter gauge for my style but for acoustic rock and blues great choice

Can Always rely on these strings and they come in a matter of days. Have used them for years on acoustic guitars.

Although these are sold as strings for acoustic basses, I personally do not like their sound in an acoustic, preferring TI flatwounds or Daddario tapewounds, however on my Peavey T40 and Rickenbacker 4001 they are a revelation....deep, dark but well defined with perfect tension, I love 'em! They look good too.

Lovely sound for my Epiphone acoustic bass, sounds amazing with these strings. Highly recommended !

Good strings

On acoustic bass...Excellent bright tone. Much better than fender strings

I've been a full-time bass player since the early 1980's and I've been a D'Addario string user for as long as I can remember. They last well, they stay in tune (a BIG plus), the Black Beauties and the tape-wound strings look great on 3 of my basses. I have D'Addario strings on all of my basses, all of my guitars and even on my mandolin.
