I saw that you can get apple-flavored cough drops in Japan and I did a quick search. These came up as pretty much the only option in the US so I ordered them and HOLY COW. They taste like Jolly Ranchers. They are a little less effective than the highly medicated ones, but if you just want something to keep your throat moist and suppress the worst of coughing, these are amazing. The watermelon ones taste just as good. I won't be using the other leading brands anymore except for the very worst sinus and cough problems. These Ludens flavors are an easy winner.

They do taste like apple. More like candy, doesn't have that halls type medicine feel when you suck on them. They are okay if you are looking for something that doesn't taste too much like medicine.

The best in the world. I hate all other cough drops, I hate honey and grape. These are like jolly ranchers lol they soothe my throat so well I have to eat them all day when I’m sick, but they keep me from coughing and hanging.

Taste just like apples not as sour as id like but its not candy its a cough drop and they are definitely the best ones I've tried i got a bad cough from covid and these are so yummy and soothing.

I sent this to my daughter in basic training. Apparently, they don't allow just any throat drops. Report back was that it was very popular and was like candy. Don't know about how good it was in terms of it's actual purpose though but if you want something that tastes good, then this is it.

As you probably know, if you take Paxlovid, for the whole five day regimen your mouth tastes metallic, as if you are sucking on a bag of pennies. I tried gum and several different kinds of lozenges, but the one that helped best was these green apple flavored drops. So I recommend them enthusiastically to anyone who is taking Paxlovid.
