Newsight DIY Oil Painting Paintworks Paint by Number for Kids and Adults (16" x 20"Color Cat)

I bought this for my 8 year old and she did some of it before giving up. Not sure if it was too hard or lack of interest. I ended up finishing it in a couple hours and I thought it was fun. I appreciate it was rolled and not folded and the instructions were helpful. It turned out good. A few of the colors almost ran out but I was able to stretch it to complete the painting.

My boys and I had fun working on this painting! It looks so much like our pet dog and we were so happy to do it together. The colors are great and it was easy to paint because it was colorful. we are totally amateurs in painting but it turned out good. It took us 3 days to finish the painting. I wanted my kids to do something at home while we are in shelter in place. We listened to spotify while painting and it was actually very therapeutic— to paint and listen to music. The only downside is that it doesnt have it’s own frame. I ordered a frame separately from another seller and it looks sooo good!

Amazing product and seller! Beautiful colors and cute picture. This is my 5th picture I have painted to date and this is the most enjoyable. A couple of the paints were dried out. I reached out to seller and they were quick to send me a replacement.

This was a fun picture to paint and looks so cute finished! It came rolled instead of folded so I didn’t have to worry about creases! The paint brushes are “eh”, so you may want to get another set. I found the paint was easier to work with if it was watered down a little but then you had to do a few coats to get the right coverage. There were two containers of the dark grey (the background color and some of the dog) but even watered down, I really needed more of it. I had plenty of all the other colors. Additionally, the size of the canvas is going to make it impossible to stretch on a frame unless you can do a custom size, and then still, I’m not sure you can stretch it without losing some of your image.

I got this for my 10 1/2 year old who loves it! Different suppliers on Amazon I think but the pic is the same I got the one without the frame. There are pros and cons and solutions to the cons. The biggest drawback to frameless are the folds in the canvas which we had. You can staple to a frame if so inclined. The other way is to iron the canvas before (and i stress before) you start to paint. Turn the canvas on the wrong (or back) side (no numbers showing). You can go pretty high on heat but make sure you don’t stay too long in one spot. Keep ironing the entire canvas with a light hand until the folds disappear. We liked the frameless way because it was more maneuverable Paints are nice good quality for PBN. They will form a light “skin” on top if you keep them open too long but nothing a little mixing won’t solve. You will need 2 coats on the lighter colors but that is expected. Even 2 coats of the white covered the numbers and lines This will make a nice addition to her room art This is a great throwback craft. I got one a bit more detailed for me and my kid and I are spending some nice time together painting

The Newsight 20x16 (WxH) Color Cat is a great paint-by-number (PX#) kit. Everything was in the box, including enough paint for all the fields. No, I did not run out of paint. Finished and framed, it looks exactly like the product picture. The color fields were well marked and easy to follow. This was a fun piece that yielded a nice work to hang on my den wall.

Some of the numbers are printed wrong. Some of the numbers are on the line so u dont know what side it is supposed to be on. I got to number 3 dark blue and it has 4 areas on the left side marked as that but in the picture they should have been 12 pink. I ran out of dark blue because of this mistake. As well Some of the paint is sooo think u have to add water for it to even go on right and then u get the patchy light and dark spots of thay color. I wouldnt buy from this place again. I do these alot and this was the worst one so far (this is number 6 for me)

I have received it,However I have yet to paint it, I'm waiting until I can get a holder and I'm on holidays.

I was a little disappointed that the Canvas was not on a board, but only on a folded cloth. These were for children who would have no way to paint them unless they attached which is some sort of a frame. Not a good feature. Very nice pictures though.

This was purchased as a Christmas present and we have only just got round to using it. Sadly it is well out of its return window, so useless now. I would avoid buying in future, it’s not not out of the realms of possibility that ‘new’ purchases may have been sat for a similar time in a warehouse and therefore also have dried paints

Very good as described
