needed a cable for an MSI gaming laptop, that had both HDMI and Mini Displayport, after my HDMI port had failed, i plugged into the MINI dp and still got my display out, works so well, ive bought more of these converters and the conversion cables from Warrky too, they just work, are super tough, constructed well and feel and look hardwearing

My Nvidia display card is capable of running 3 x 4K displays and I wanted to check the operation & display of my pc at 4K. It's not just a case of hooking up a 4k HDMI cable to a display port adapter from the display card , each time there is a cable connection, the signal degrades. The 42" UHD/4k TV I was using for the test automatically switches the display for the input. Using a 4k HDMI cable plugged into the Mini-display port adapter didn't work. Changing it for the cable I bought here did the job. This high quality single cable from the display card's output port straight to the TV/monitor did the job immediately.

I use this at 1920 x 1080 from a Dell OptiPlex 7050 SFF i7, 32GB Ram, Win11 Pro , Nvidia P400 2GB. I have duel 24" monitors. This cable is on one of them.
