Received the product today. I have multiple Solid State Drives in various devices and computers. Some of these devices are installed in very cramped motherboards/PCBs, so I needed a low profile heat sink. I ordered the 5 Pack version of this item. Product was neatly packaged and even came with alcohol wipes to clean the surface before installation. Heat sink itself is very low profile but does an excellent job of bringing down the temperature of the SSDs. Good product if you are looking for a practical cooling solution in a device that does not have much space to install bulky heat sinks.

heatsink getting too much heat, not much useful. should increase the size of the heat sink, then it will dissipate more heat. Please don't buy this and better go for higher model.

The heat sink is good quality but the thermal tape is very poor quality and it will actually make the heat sink useless if used with the heat sink. You should order 3M thermal tape.

My problem was : Laptop body getting too hot while long hours of heavy usageI put these directly on the laptop's aluminum body on the bottom side and these made such a huge difference. Laptop's body stays relatively much cooler now. im using a USB powered fan to blow air from right to left under the laptop. No, these heatsinks do not touch the desk when i keep the laptop flat as these have less height than the laptop's default rubber lifters. only regret is that i didnt buy the black color
