I’ve been using the New Bloo Toilet Blocks for a few weeks now, and I’m really pleased with how effective they are at keeping my toilet clean and free from limescale buildup. The blocks dissolve slowly, so I don’t have to replace them often, which makes them very convenient. They help maintain a fresh scent in the bathroom without being overpowering. Installation is straightforward—just pop the block into the cistern, and you’re good to go. Since using these blocks, I’ve noticed less limescale on the toilet bowl and in the cistern, which is great for prolonging the life of my toilet. Overall, I’d definitely recommend these to anyone looking for an easy, low-maintenance solution to limescale problems.

I'm a great fan of toilet cistern cleaning blocks, and always use this brand. Weird to say, I know but the colours are fun. Blue. Purple. Green. Single block colours (not all at once). Very effective cleaning. So easy to use - just drop it into the cistern and let it get on with it.

Fresh scented with every flush, dont seem to last as long as the packaging states, but that's not really a problem. Easy to use, just drop one in the cistern (you may need to peel off a warning sticker)

There ok and smell fresh but they don't really keep your toilet any cleaner.

Appears to work well as I live in a very hard water area, this product appears to be keeping timescale down to a minimum.

Very impressed, just dropped one into cistern and after a few flushes/days all kinds of grime was flushed away that was not visible. Has a fresh smell.

I have used Bloo for many years and have been very satisfied with the benefits it provides, foam, fragrance and a feeling of hygiene. However, a few months ago Bloo stopped selling the product and offered a more expensive version that had less fragrance. I decided to use this new product but after a month or so, I started seeing lumps of black mass running down the toilet bowl when I flushed. The cistern was clear but still I dosed it with bleach to try and remove the "bacterial slime". The black mass continued to appear intermittently until I theorised that the water soluble wrapping on the Bloo cube was the cause. I stopped using Bloo and the black mass never reappeared.
